22.01.2022 Why not share your story of transformation with us? In such a large and growing parish, sharing personal stories of growth encourages and helps create deeper connections to each other in the transforming work God does! You can share your story with us here > https://www.stdeclansparish.org/stories-at-the-well... Be encouraged by words from Archbishop Anthony Fisher OP we all have a responsibility to share our faith stories with others, to help bring others into a closer encounter with Christ. 21.01.2022 We’re all broken in one way. Noah was a drunk Moses stuttered Jacob was a cheater Rahab was a prostitute... Job was bankrupt Jonah ran from God Elijah was suicidal David had an affair Martha was a worrier Miriam was a gossip Thomas was a doubter Paul was a murderer The Samaritan woman was divorced Peter had a temper The Bible is full of broken people with broken stories but God was still able to use them in a powerful way. Are you broken? If your answer is yes then God can use you in a powerful way too.

11.01.2022 In yesterday’s Mass readings we heard: Forgive your neighbour the hurt he does you, and when you pray, your sins will be forgiven. - Ecclesiasticus 28:2. How do we do this when it is so hard to forgive? ... In the previous Sunday’s Mass readings we heard: You must love your neighbour as yourself - Romans 13:9 Once we see that our calling in life is to love and to forgive, our relationships with others change. A simple healing word spoken in love can begin the process of growth over old wounds. We see the perfect image of love and forgiveness in Jesus crucified, the way back to love and forgiveness has been opened. The cross, an instrument of death is the source of life for us, the source of healing. Read more about this as we celebrate today’s feast day ‘The Exhaltation of the Holy Cross’, in Fr Chris’s blog post here under the Media link on the website: https://www.stdeclansparish.org/bl/the-triumph-of-the-cross Or under MGL Musings on the app #love #forgiveness #motherteresa #bibleverse #forgive #healing #thecross #jesus #relationships
