16.01.2022 Another pole replacement and new meter box done today, the old pole was only in the ground 1 meter and rotten throughout, it had a 1 meter x300 mm concrete slab around it. As it was lifted the pole snapped off at the base, but all was removed ok and new pole installed to correct depth.

05.01.2022 115 m of trench today, power supply for new swing gate installation I’m currently doing.

05.01.2022 Either Poor lighting installation or bad insulation installation nearly burnt down house. Covered in shredded paper insulation. Paper has been smouldering in ceiling caked around light fitting.

04.01.2022 Big day today pulling out a large parts holding machine in Brisbane at old army warehouse and on the way home pulled in 80 meters of shed mains cable in to trench and conduit ready shed power installation. Home by 6.30 pm.

02.01.2022 People if you getting a generator change over switch put in just make sure it suits your situation. I have seen quite a few 15 amps ones put in to power the whole house this is not right. This can cause generators to trip on over load also check to make sure your generator is compatible with your load and switch board as you may find issues with RCD protected generators tripping. Before getting an electrician to install a change over switch, talk to a generator supplier for advice on the right type to suit load and type of installation ( you may require a inverter type or auto voltage type ) also may need one with out an RCD or MEN fitted in the generator. Putting any generator on a house or building may not work properly or safely.
