21.01.2022 Hardwood ranch fence in the Barossa that we have just completed. Post have been pre painted and set in 300mm x 600mm piers wrapped with denso tape to prevent moisture getting in between the concrete and timber preventing rot. Rails were pre painted on the rear before being attached to post to also help prevent rot between rails and post. Rails and posts were pre drilled and rails counter sunk ready for 100mm bugle screws. Rails were also mitred at all joins to prevent unsightly gaps between rail ends. Completed with a old gate found on site which we cut and shut to suit the customers preferred fence height. Made new custom hinges and catch to suit original fittings, then had sandblasted and powder coated to match fence and veranda colour. Not just an old ranch fence!

18.01.2022 Recently completed job in Kapunda in which we completely transformed their rear yard to a ready to plant blank canvas. Fair bit of work went into this one from removal of plants, weeds, concrete, old fencing and old timber retaining walls. As well as council approval and installation of fence and wall combo on boundary. Controlled backfill and top dressed with decent garden loam. Another happy customer

11.01.2022 Pretty happy with this before and after shot. Recently completed rebuild of collapsed block retaining wall (built by others). Wall had to be completely taken down and rebuilt with core filling and backfilling with no fines concrete. Then paving and balustrade re installed. Definitely not going anywhere this time
10.01.2022 We are currently looking for an experienced fence installer either on a sub contract basis or as an employee. As a sub contractor you must be confident at working from plans, present well, use appropriate ppe, be reliable and be open to installing to our strict standards. As an employee you must be all of the above plus be able to stay off of social media during work hours and have tasks completed in designated times. Drivers license and white card is a must. 07.01.2022 A recent project in the Adelaide hills where a tree had fallen and damaged the old retaining wall, fence and slate pavement. Old wall was removed and replaced with a new hardwood sleeper wall with timber balustrade and repairs to the damaged slate pavement.
06.01.2022 *Caution following may contain traces of verbal diarrhoea* These retaining wall beams were for at least a 2m high wall but only set in the ground 500mm deep. Just because someone says they can build a retaining wall doesn’t mean that they should. Don’t be afraid to ask to see your contractors builders license, not just their license number but their actual license. Believe me there are people out there using fake license numbers. ... Be wary of contractors that don’t promote themselves with vehicle signage, not all but some of these contractors don’t want to be seen. Don’t be afraid to get a building inspector or engineer in to assess the pier depths before steels are set. Or better still just get us to build your wall so you know it is done to the engineers specifications. Sorry if this seems like a bit of a bitch session but I’m tired of customers being ripped off by the cheaper contractor doing the wrong thing. Note; If you are planning to add a fence to the top of your wall chances are you will need council approval. Fences over 2.1m need approval and that is measured from the top of the fence to the bottom of the wall. Build it right, build it once!
