25.01.2022 While a relaxation on parking fees helped many essential workers save money during the tough coronavirus restrictions, its now time for us all to support our s...truggling businesses, many of which will start reopening from this weekend. Turnover of car parks is vital to help drive more customers to shop locally and from Monday May 18, #Brisbanes parking arrangements will return to normal, with $5 parking for four hours on weekends introduced at Brisbane City Council car parks.

15.01.2022 Hello customers, friends hope all is well, as this virus takes a toll on businesss, it has made us change our opening hours. We will open 2morrow being Saturday morning at 7.30/7.45am and may shut early! Business is just extremely hard and not worth it right now! I hope you all understand!

15.01.2022 Hey there Customers, Friends and Family, As many of you know, we have been shut just over a week now! Its hard, but with the lack of customers, foot traffic within the park and surrounds, we had to do this. Its hard to even open and cover costs right now as the park is closed with playgrounds not open, pools closed, most shops closed, however we are working on takeaway items and even coffee, for lunch and evening meals for online order with drop off service, stay tuned for this. With so many new rules and restrictions its becoming hard to even think about these options! Please stay tuned for more updates:- Stay Safe, Be Safe, and Remember we will be back!

Due to Sunday nights Government regulations put in place for cafes, bars, restaurants, clubs, and more, we will be temporarily closed from 1.00pm Monday 23rd of March 2020 until further notice. We apologise for the inconvenience this has caused. We will get through this with your support! Follow us on our Facebook page for updates.... We have built our business with you over the last 13 years, we are more than just a cafe, more like a family you can chat to, have a coffee with and talk about sports and events. We are a family and we must stay together and follow the rules and fight to beat this! With safety as the number one priority, Steam Caf, Southbank and its team members continues to follow the guidelines set out by the State and Federal Governments, and we ask you to also follow this to help us get back quicker and to a cleaner country! 13.01.2022 This is great news, steam Caf is looking to come back soon! As soon as the works in front of our cafe within the park is completed, and the green space and playgrounds are open, we will be opening! We are hoping to be back sometime in July with stage 3 restrictions lifted!
