24.01.2022 Sorry I've been quiet for the past couple of weeks, but I've been busy working on a couple of large commissions, with the large black bag, a copy of the design of a canvas Bag of Holding, being a massive job which took longer than I thought, especially with all the partitions and pouches built into it. The brown book bag is made for an academic who wanted something he could carry all his publications in, and access them easily, while not getting damaged. There's also been seven belts, and some repair work in that time, so it's definitely been busy.

11.01.2022 We went to Ironfest over the weekend, and had a great time. It's nice to be back with the freaks, geeks, weirdos and nerds again, where I can relax and enjoy myself, and spend time with good people. Saturday was a bit cold and wet at times, but Sunday was just a beautiful day. Definitely worth the trip.

08.01.2022 Greetings to all, and my deepest apologies. Life has been really rushed over the past couple of months, so I just haven't had time to sit down and catch up with all the things I need to do. We now have the new kitchen almost finished, and the new workshop structure should be completed this weekend. Then I install the insulation, the combustion heater, the roof vent, all my tools and leather, and it will be ready to go. Meanwhile, yes, I have been working away when time and energy levels permit, and photos will be posted. I would ask anybody who wore some of my work to events to send me pictures or links so I can see how the final collection worked out. More in the next couple of days, and it's good to be back and running again. Talk to you all soon, Jonathan

08.01.2022 Got back late this afternoon from one of the best Festivals I've had in years. Glorious weather, catching up with friends and excellent fighting time, including one battle where it was one of those Zen times where you just can't miss. Target, draw, loose, move to next target - bliss. The garage is filled with tents drying, tarps pegged out in the yard, and the washing machine running as I write, but it's worth it all. Back to work tomorrow, starting with finishing up some mods requested on a couple of satchels, then a couple of belts that I just didn't have time to make at Festival, before following up on a number of commissions, including a hurdy gurdy case.

05.01.2022 I'm off to Glenworth Valley for the SCA Festival event during Easter, and we're looking at attending Ironfest at Lithgow 20-21 April, so I look forward to seeing people at both events.
