20.01.2022 What a day, early in the afternoon a Koch family booked in to do the tour tomorrow and the sound and light show tonight, then later a Doeke family booked in for the same. What are the odds of the 2 founders decendents coming to Peterborough on the same day! What an exciting day sent both families to the history group tomorrow!!@

19.01.2022 Cant post on either Peterborough Community or the Steamtown Heritage pages so I will try here hoping you can pass on.

06.01.2022 What a difference conservation can make! We are currently re-housing these South Australian Railways employee history sheets (GRS 10638), after re-sorting them ...into alphabetical order. They are going from heavy bundles with little protection (image on the left) to manageable envelopes that will keep the sheets safe forever (image on the right). These records can still be accessed at our Research Centre, and we're creating a name index - so keep an eye out for that online in the future. To make a booking to visit the Research Centre see our website: https://archives.sa.gov.au/general-inform//research-centre See more
