02.01.2022 S-tech again put their hands in their pockets to support a local WA sparky that was injured trying to help a fellow West Australian with supplying weatherproof battens and flood lights for the Perth One Man Band Sparkys (POMBS) busy-bee this weekend. Back in June, Chris Unstead, a volunteer Firefighter and self-employed business man did what he always did and helped a fellow motorist. He was waved down by a group of people who had rolled their car and without hesitation he w...ent to assist them to get the car back on its wheels. During this process, the car fell back and he ended up being trapped under the car and as a result, he nearly lost his leg and was left with long rehabilitation period. Chris posted a simple request on POMBS about getting a solar system installed, next thing you know the POMBS community got on board and worked out what else needed to be done and jumped in to donate their time and products to complete all the odd jobs around his property and also fully install his solar system to help save money whilst he was at home. With many not knowing each other or Chris, and competing regularly for the same work around Perth it was a great community spirit bringing everyone together for a great cause. We would like to thank Dan Bailey for his hard work and dedication to turn this idea into reality with locals supporting locals S-Tech was happy to donate to the cause. See more
