24.01.2022 Welcoming our newest team member Chris Cooney. Chris was admitted to practice law in 1977. In 1978 he became a partner of the legal practice he was working for and has remained in that position until recently, when he relocated to Bathurst to work with us.... From the early 1980s, following introduction of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 Chris has worked for Councils in Land and Environment Court matters, provided local governments advice, and handled multiple property and acquisition matters. In 1998 Chris completed additional study and became an Accredited Specialist in Property Law. He retains his accreditation to this day. Additionally, in 2011 he studied again and received a Masters of Applied Law in Wills and Estates and subsequently became an Accredited Specialist in Wills and Estate law, making him one of very few dual accredited specialists in New South Wales.

16.01.2022 This weekend we have Mental Health First Aid Australia, a not-for-profit organisation, running a two day course in our office. This is an educational course, not a support group or therapy. The aim of the course is to provide practical skills to recognise common mental health problems and provide initial help. 45% of all Australians will experience a mental illness in their lifetime. 54% of those people do not access any treatment. 16.01.2022 We are proud to be diamond sponsors of the annual HOPE charity event. A very successful night as the event raised over $55,000 for Daffodil Cottage.
