20.01.2022 Well race fans that is not only one but two rounds in the TFH Archerfield Midget Series done and run ! Rusty kicked off night one with a draw and invert format and we thought after engine starts we were set to rock however we were a little mistaken Taking the green the Steelmart/APC Esslinger dropped what was to be battery supply fairly quickly causing a DNF and a bit of a freight train of nose to tails in the wake ... Fixing that concern he set sail in the final heat of the first round from grid six and ran home in 2nd taking a 9th place starting grid for the main event Counting down the laps from the green moving foward to be challenging for a podium when had a car park moment in turns one and two unfortunately coming together momentarily with Darren Vine with both being able to keep going however in the mean time the Bandit Brad Dawson grabbed the lead and eventually the race win as Rusty Whittaker crossed in 2nd and Darren Vine 3rd Night two started a lot better with a Time Trial format he clocked the 2nd fasted time putting the 17Q Sprint Shack/Craig Thompson Breka out of P6 in his first heat of the programme , crossing in 2nd place after the duration We had a couple of cars drop out for the final round of heats so again it was P6 and finish of 2nd which was enough to be highest points scorer drawing marble 1 for the grids to remain as they qualified From the get fo the Bell Boys of Jason and Jack C had worked with Jeffery on set up and ideas for the main show and it was evident the car was coming to life as the night went on while Rusty set sail and counted down the 20 laps to take the victory over Lachy Paulger and Darren Vine in 3rd Mega thanks to Jason and Jack C for the spanner spinning and making the epic trek to come and turn some laps (see you all in a few days ) All the 89ers cleaning and running race night duties as normal ....... faultless Rusty keep doing what your doing as Mark Skaife would say that’s two green boxes ticked Shouldn’t be too long until the 89 Steelmart Missile is on track but in the meantime the 17Q Glenn Wright Painting Breka is a pleasure to ride along with Thanks to all who ride with us see you all in Toowoomba Steelmart Sunshine Coast RAW Metal Corp Craig Thompson Machining Sprint Shack Lighthouse Electrical Craig Thompson Esslinger’s BOSS Chassis Australia Specialised Energy GSA Advanced Machining Sidtech JD Machinery Maintenance Exhaust Notes Australia Wayne Randall Bobcat Hire The Rewa Neilsons The Williams Family #17 CJR Motorsport Moree Along with Glenn Wright Painting and APC

09.01.2022 It's been a hectic last couple of months for the Team at Steelmart. When Covid 19 hit We were looking at doom and gloom, wow it's been the complete opposite. The team has been flat out pulling orders, processing orders, cutting to size RHS,SHS,CHS,FMS,UC's,In,Sheet,Plate in fact everything in steel and Aluminum. Our Guillotine, Punch and Brake press have been doing overtime. Along with steel sales and processing our fabrication Team have been busy as, making concretor's tru...ck bodies, roofing company truck for outs, site welding, onsite repairs, making tiny houses, gates, chassis's, stumps, beams and producing our own hand sanitizer units for one of our loyal customers. Thanks to the Team for going above and beyond to look after our wonderful customer base that trust Steelmart to deliver their steel and projects. We have lots coming up so keep your eye on this page. 04.01.2022 Hi there all, it's been a while since we have put up a post, so I thought I would update you all on Steelmarts expansion project. We have been planing the new build of our office, showroom, admin and amenities building for the last twelve months, and also a new shed to accommodate our ever growing stock and range of product. We are so pleased with the progress of our site expansion to date and have had such a great bunch of customer/trades/tradesmen work on this project, hats... off to them all. As we say exciting times bringing more products, services, efficiencies, productivity and customer service experiences. Steelmart has only a short time now until we have this project completed and can then welcome you all to our updated facilities. Keep your eye on our page for the opening specials in the weeks ahead.
