18.01.2022 Hi guys I wanted to quickly jump on here to say.. HAPPY ONE YEAR TO ME! Exactly 1 year ago today I took a massive plunge, I quit and finished up my full time office job to pursue the career I loved and I’ve never looked back since. I’ve been doing makeup professionally since 2016, however I knew I had to widen my service options if I was to go out on my own and that’s where lashes came into the picture. At first it was hard, starting out fresh, building a proper clientele ...base, still learning how to actually do a proper set of lashes, juggling makeup and lash bookings manually (so stressful when you’re a lil forgetful at the best of times ), learning not to live on a full time salary, accepting some weeks were going to be quieter than others (scary!). I also did all of this for the first 6 months mobile (never again haha!).. lugging a lash bed in and out of homes, up stairs and around corners daily was not ideal and then Coronavirus hit and we all know how that went for most people.. (still upset I didn’t become Tik Tok famous during lockdown) Fast forward to now and I am honestly happier than I’ve ever been, I’m obviously always striving to do bigger and better things each year but I am SO content and grateful right now Thank you so much to my wonderful clients for trusting me with your beauty services and for all your ongoing support. A huge shoutout to all my beauty babes, isn’t it amazing how we encourage each other instead of compete with each other? I honestly have the most beautiful beauty professionals surrounding me who have also helped me get to where I am today, you girls are the best! And a massive thank you to my man who was the one who forced me to do this all in the first place I think that’s all from me for today I hope you all have a wonderful and safe weekend. Steff xx
