13.01.2022 Congratulations R&S, happily and married in my home, they were very thankful that we were able to conduct a wedding ceremony considering the strict restrictions in place due to the coronavirus pandemic. 03.01.2022 This morning the neighbours in my street came together for a driveway ANZAC Day service to "light up the Dawn" whilst socially distancing. I did a letterbox drop earlier this week inviting everyone in our street to join together, and received phone calls of thanks for arranging a service for them. This morning many families stood in their driveways with candles to take part in the Dawn service to honour our servicemen and women. The Ode was read, a the Last Post was played, w...e then observed a minute of silence, I read In Flanders Fields, the Reveille and the Aust National Anthem were played and then we honoured the four Victorian Police Officers who lost their lives on Wednesday followed by the reading the Police Ode. Following the service we gathered at a social distance to chat, have a cuppa and anzac biscuits.
