23.01.2022 Poor Miss Pippa She thought it was a good idea to break into the chocolate stash. Quick thinking from her Aunty, who phoned us and brought her straight in. Unsure of how many she had actually gotten We had to make her vomit and lucky we did. She is now at home recovering. ... Chocolate poisoning is a serious. Chocolate ingestion can cause the following symptoms. Vomiting Diarrhoea Tremors Seizures Irregular heart rate Even death Even if you see none of the above symptoms and you suspect your little one has eaten chocolate you need to bring them straight to the clinic for treatment. Time is of the essence.

09.01.2022 Today we had a wild blue tongue brought into the clinic. A young man named Parker has been watching and feeding him for the last 18months when he noticed his leg had become swollen. Parker jumped straight into action and caught him and brought him into the clinic. Unfortunately his old skin has become tight around his leg and he needed an amputation. He was unable to use his leg. Dr Faye, Stephanie and Fallon stayed back to do the procedure. We are happy to report that Nemo is back home in the front yard and being looked after by Parker.

06.01.2022 We are still open and seeing patients. When you arrive for your appointment please phone the clinic on 43326026 and let us know you have arrived and a member of staff will come and collect you. Please try and keep it to one person per animal per visit. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time.
04.01.2022 Vet clinics are essential to your pets. If we test positive for COVID19 we will close and we may not be there when your pets need us. This is why we ask questions before coming into the building, ask you to hand sanitize on arrival, get you to wait in the waiting room while we check you fur child and we ask one person per visit. . This is why you must call ahead. This is why the phones are ringing off the hook. This is why things might take a little longer than usual. You can...'t see from the outside or at the other end of the phone line but our nurses' workload has sky rocketed with these new protocols. At any one time they may have a client on the phone and another 2 on hold, multiple clients waiting to pay and only one EFTPOS machine that needs to be disinfected between uses, a vet waiting for them to help with a patient because owners are no longer there to hold them and samples waiting to be processed for a sick animal in hospital. Please be patient, read the signs, follow distancing instructions and be kind to our nurses. We know you're stressed, so are we. Stay safe See more
04.01.2022 Please keep in one with all this warm weather.
