25.01.2022 I’ve known this lady for a few years. She is a good friend of one of my friends @xena33. She has been concerned about her brows or lack of, for sometime but unsure what direction to take so she has started out with a brow lamination and henna. These brows are not perfect yet but it’s a start. Her right brow in particular had some huge gaps but will the lamination, I was able to incorporate all of those little blonde hairs into the shape by straightening and colouring them. ... 24.01.2022 Brow tattooing is a process, a process that you have to trust. I measure the brows according to your facial structure, what you naturally have and also ask about what your brows used to look like. It is through this process that I come up with a shape that’s suitable for your face and one that you, the client is happy with of course. The machine method of shading that I use means that the brows don’t look very natural when first done, but they heal really naturally so that’s where the whole trust me, trust the process comes into play. 16.01.2022 I’ve known @sally.medwin for over 20 years as we used to sing together in the Southern Gospel Choir for a few years together. She is a gem of a human and I’ve always had a lot of time for her. I’m so happy she chose me to give her some new brows. She has gone from naturally not having much hair there- this happens when you’re a teenager in the 90’s and the fact that she’s had 4 kids is never favourable to your brows either as hormones causes hair loss but I was able to give her the correct brows for her face. 16.01.2022 When Avalon who is 10.5 writes on her Christmas wish list... for my mum to do extension gel nails on me, I decide to bring out the goodies and oblige! These are silk extensions using @thegelbottleaus so there are no nasties entering both of our systems. I was a nail tech as well as a beauty therapist for years but gave up two years ago when I was diagnosed with lung cancer. Avalon was so excited and grateful that I was able to do this for her today! She is such a sweet daughter most of the time and it was worth the hour and a half just to see the smile on her face xxx

We also support a lot of individuals and charities through my other business @toyworldhobart . Giving is good for the soul and we should all give as much as we can. 09.01.2022 This was a very emotional transformation for this client who had always felt like she was missing the structure and definition to her face due to fair and thinning brows There were tears and great appreciation for the fact that it was a painless procedure and that her brows suited her face and bone structure. Because there wasn’t much natural hair to work with, I had to really feel for the brow bone and use my measuring skills to get the shape right. 08.01.2022 Over the last 20 years, its no secret that I’ve struggled with my weight. I went from playing state league netball, running, training and playing 6 days a week to getting my first job at 17, sitting in in an office on my arse 6 days a week with a very nice bakery close by! Suddenly I was earning my own money and could buy what I wanted. We didn’t grow up eating junk food, in fact I had never eaten McDonalds until I was 17. My mum Ann-Marie Johnson and Grandma had an everythi...ng in moderation approach. We were allowed treats for special occasions but that was about it. I remember mum sitting me down at the dining table one night when I was about 12 talking to me about how my body type was different to my sisters. She was skinny as a rake and would demolish a family size block of chocolate in a short period of time...I’m not joking am I Kim Giddens? I remember crying and wishing that wasn’t the case but thankful that I could have have open and honest conversations with my mum. In grade 7, I weighed 63kg’s was 168cm tall and was extremely fit so I’ve never been small. Over the last 20 years, I’ve been 99kg’s on my wedding day and my biggest being 134kg’s around 5 years ago. 5 babies later and that too has taken a toll on my body. My weight constantly fluctuates and I’ve tried many different methods to get it down and keep it down with no success. Its been mentally and physically exhausting. I’m currently classed as morbidly obese according to BMI. After thinking about it for about 4 years, yesterday I had an Omega Loop Bypass(weight loss surgery). My main factor in deciding to go ahead with it was due to the fact that I’ve had cancer. The healthier and closer to the right BMI range, the lower the risk of cancer returning. My weight has consumed me for so long. For those of you that have never had weight issues, it’s like a big bear on your back that you’re constantly trying to negotiate. Although I’m active, don’t eat huge portions and as a family we don’t eat badly, I definitely love sugar! I don’t keep it in the house otherwise I eat it!!! I’ve also been able to hide it pretty well and know how to dress to my body shape. I’m doing this for my mental health, my physical health and my family. I’ve decided to share my journey to not only keep me accountable but to maybe inspire those of you who aren’t happy in your own skin to make a change whatever that may look like to you. Starting weight- 116kg Goal weight 70kg.

04.01.2022 It took me months to convince this lovely lady to have laser removal done on her 2 year old microbladed brows. This really is a great example of the dark side of cosmetic tattooing. This lady has been so traumatised by the whole experience so it was lovely to accompany her today to see Jorja who owns @whiterabbittattooremoval for a consultation that turned into the first treatment as my client was so keen to start the process of removing her awful tattooed brows so that she ...can eventually get them re tattooed with me. I was so impressed with Jorja and the amazing results she is getting. I too will go and see her to have some small sections at the start of my brows lasered off. If you’re unhappy with your tattooed brows and especially if they’re green/blue/purple toned-DONT GET THEM RE TATTOOED. These colours will eventually come back through in time- it doesn’t matter how much colour correction is done. Spend $150 per session to get laser/and or saline removal done to get them back on track so you can either get them re tattooed or have them natural again. Do your research people, this tattoo is on your face and you see it everyday so choose someone that can give you amazing brows that look good for years to come. #laserremovalbrows #browshobart
