13.01.2022 After an extensive hull reinforcement completed on this 95ft motor yacht, we were able to install new ABT TRAC STAR stabilisers. Gary said this when asked about the process for upgrading a current vessels stabilisation system: When upgrading a system like this from underway only to STAR (stabilisation at rest) a full assessment of the hull and structure in the way of fins and actuators is required. The forces exerted to stabilise a vessel while at rest are significantly higher than when underway, so typically strengthening is required.
