18.01.2022 Fellow Melbournians, as we face our own sequel Lockdown 2: Lock Harder we have some news to brighten your spirits. As of 7:30pm AEST tonight we can be together (apart) by watching 'Relic', the highly acclaimed feature film debut of the fabulous Natalie James, which launches on Stan. just in time to scare us out of our doldrums. 'Relic' is an unforgettable new spin on the haunted house horror film that was proudly made in Melbourne. When Edna (#RobynNevin), the elde...rly and widowed matriarch of the family, goes missing, her daughter Kay (Emily Mortimer) and granddaughter Sam (Bella Heathcote) travel to their remote family home to find her. Soon after her return, they start to discover a sinister presence haunting the house and taking control of Edna. This year’s Stellar attendees will remember Natalie’s atmospheric short film 'Drum Wave' was an award-winner at our festival for Best Cinematography (kudos to Charlie Sarroff who has also done an incredible job on 'Relic') check out our great snap of Natalie and 'Relic' co-writer Christian White at Stellar 2020!
