13.01.2022 Hi I am pleased to confirm that our final STEM Fest Australia event of the year will take place on 3rd December, Saturday at Fountain College. The event will take place between 10 AM and 2.30 PM. The event is open to everyone. The event will focus on the technological aspect of STEM and there will be opportunities for students to participate in a number of different workshops. To secure a place in a workshop please email [email protected] with the year level of the chil...d, the child's name and school name with preferences of activities from 1 to 8. The activities are: -Unplugged Coding: coding without computers. -Coding -3D printing -LEGO Wedo (Year 2 and above): LEGO robotics for primary students -LEGO Mindstorms (Year 5 and above): LEGO robotics for upper primary and secondary -Beebots (Suitable for students Year 1 to 4): Basic robotics and coding for lower primary -Probots: Coding for students year 3 and up -Droids: control droids (BB-8, Sphero, Ollie) with a smart phone Each session has it's own maximum capacity, so please book your preferred sessions early to avoid disappointment. There will also be some competitions which will be judged on the day (details will follow soon) and the lucky winners will be treated with piloting drones! Parents are welcome as well. There will be food, drinks and ice cream available for purchase. See more
