25.01.2022 Some absolute stunning blooms at the market this morning! I picked up some beautiful bright bunches for this weekends event. It never gets easier to restrain myself from going overboard and buying too much!!

25.01.2022 Ash & Jade 17.5.19 On Friday, Stems by Sally created and designed the florals for this gorgeous couples wedding. Held at Milestone Events in Manly, with an exclusive beautiful location at North Head for the ceremony, this wedding was truly one to remember. We created a luscious look with full blooms of crisp white, blush pinks, and moody burgundy with hints of gold peeking through. The colours matched the harbour backdrop perfectly and the weather could not have been more ...perfect. Onto the reception in the ballroom we had matching centrepieces and flowers that lined the windowsills among romantic candlelight and fairy lights. Jade Lal was the perfect bride in every way. Not only stunning, but a truly lovely and wonderful person. She trusted me to create magic for her wedding day and let me design for her. I wish both of them every happiness for their future together. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Lal!!

Last weekend, I travelled to Canberra to visit ‘Floriade’ An annual event, held in Canberra every year in spring, boasts the most luscious and colourful blooms set out in many patterns showcasing each flower so brilliantly. ... It was a stunning day with the cool Canberra air keeping everyone happy, we saw endless tulips, had great coffee and even picked up a bottle of chili sauce (or two!) 14.01.2022 Friday flowering and I had some beauties!! Those stripey dahlias were my pick of the day and went to a gorgeous hardworking lady. The native vase arrangements were just perfect for a Xmas gathering and will most likely last until Xmas day! Even the poor hydrangea held up so well in the sydney heat.

I bought these 1 week ago today and watching them bloom over the week is just one of the enjoyments of having these in the house and they will last another week looking just as spectacular! Who said more stems is better? Quality over quantity always wins out for me. 5 stems of peonies that bloom this magnificently is worth every penny.

I’m so lucky to have found my passion in wedding and event floristry, it really is true that it doesn’t feel like work if you’ve found a job you absolutely love. That’s not to say that it’s easy, floristry is easily the most beautiful but toughest job I’ve done, but I still wouldn’t have it any other way. 01.01.2022 Jessica’s Bridal Shower 13.10.18 I created these florals today for a gorgeous girl’s bridal shower which was white and gold themed. Sprayed ruscus and gymea leaves to create the gold effect and I’ve used delphiniums, reflexed roses, Singapore orchids, snapdragons and chrysanthemums balanced with some beautiful pure white phalenopsis orchids
