21.01.2022 Its Orchid Love Day again! Remember to love your Orchids once a fortnight. Orchids need fertilizing weekly or bi-weekly while they are producing new growth. Decrease this to monthly intervals once they are mature, and then discontinue altogether once the orchid goes dormant.

20.01.2022 We recognise the increased uncertainty that Coronavirus may be causing and would like to offer our reassurances that the health and wellbeing of our florists, our delivery drivers, our customers and your loved ones is always our number one priority. At this time, we are open for business as usual. However, we have amended the following policies in regard to deliveries, collections and payments. Payments... To reduce the risk of transmitting the virus we will no longer be accepting cash payments. Payments can be made over the phone or by bank transfer once an order is made. Collections We have made the decision to suspend all onsite collections of floral orders. All orders will now be delivered in accordance with the delivery policy set out below. Deliveries Deliveries to Funeral Homes At this time, deliveries to funeral homes will continue as normal. However, if you are unable to attend a funeral service we are able to send a photograph of the floral arrangement and any card messages to the customer by email. These photographs will be taken at our florist studio as we are unable to take photographs at the funeral home. Local Deliveries We have now introduced contactless deliveries policy for all other kinds of deliveries which we hope will offer peace of mind and protection for everyone. We will now take the following steps when making a delivery: We will request the phone number of the recipient when an order is placed. Prior to delivery, we will call the recipient to let them know that the delivery is coming and to advise them that we will knock and leave the flowers but not wait for someone to answer the door. Once we arrive at the premises we will knock and leave the flowers by the door to alert the recipient that the delivery has taken place, however we will not wait for the recipient to come to the door. Orders Due to global flight reductions many flowers will be unavailable. We will adjust our range as we can but please understand that many flower types will need to be substituted. Please feel free to call us to discuss this further. Thank you for understanding why these steps are being taken.

19.01.2022 Did you know that orchids only need love once a fortnight? (If only everything was an orchid!) Place orchids in an east to south-facing window or room. They prefer bright, indirect light to make the best flowers. However, too much light can lead to leaf scorch.

17.01.2022 While this article focuses on the Eastern States we love that Australian Native Flowers are making the news. We are a big supporter of not just Australian grown but Australian Native Flowers and are very proud of the fact that we can source grower direct and produce large-scale arrangements that are purely Australian Natives. More growers can only help our product :)

17.01.2022 Its Orchid Love Day again! Remember to love your Orchids once a fortnight. Keep an eye out for pests and disease Orchids are occasionally affected by mealybugs, scale, and aphids. These can usually be washed off or treated with insecticidal soap, found at your local garden centre.

16.01.2022 Its Orchid Love Day again! Remember to love your Orchids once a fortnight. Orchids, unlike us, love humidity! To increase humidity you can place a water-filled saucer or tray of pebbles beneath the plants, mist plants daily, or use a humidifier.

16.01.2022 We are on a new server with new hosts and stoked to have email again!!

15.01.2022 FLOATING WREATH #sympathywreath #nofloralfoam #bioflorist #eco #perthflorist #sympathyflorist #stemsfloraldesignperth @ Stems Floral Design Perth

14.01.2022 ECO-FRIENDLY EVENT We had the amazing opportunity to put together 9.6m of Australian Native florals for a VIP event last Friday. We took the opportunity to make this event as environmentally positive as possible.... The brief: short bump in time, silent bump out, no mess, Australian Natives with a touch of blue for the event branding. We made boxes using recyled Jarrah floor boards, recyled chicken wire and flowers that needed water used recyled water vials. All flowers were WA grown and grower direct sourced. All flowers have been reused.

11.01.2022 We have been having serious issues with our email service this week. If you have sent us an email in the last 48 hours and not received a reply, please forward it to [email protected]. We are hoping it will be back up again soon!!

09.01.2022 Its Orchid Love Day again! Remember to love your Orchids once a fortnight. If your orchids suddenly stop blooming but have suitable light, temperature, and humidity, then repotting may be necessary. Orchids need repotting every other year to stay happy and blooming.

09.01.2022 Losing a loved one at any time of year is tough. With Christmas next week we know better than most just how tough it can be. To all of our families saying goodbye to a loved one. Please know we are thinking of you all.
