24.01.2022 What Im feeling grateful for pre-COVID19.

24.01.2022 I have struggled to find the words to share about the tragic events in the US. As a person of colour I had racial slurs thrown at me in the past but I am aware ...I am privileged to not have experienced nothing more than what sociologists term individual and everyday racism. Its been uncomfortable to read about what is happening in the news after George Floyds death, and I dont know how to put all my thoughts and feelings into words. But its alright because its what makes us human. I dont want my kids who are part Chinese/Filipino/Vietnamese/French/British to experience any sort of racism as they grow up. Ill do my bit to learn and listen, particularly for the Australian indigenous community. Praying for a better world for all POC. #blackouttuesday

12.01.2022 Were talking to those with fur babies too Before parenthood, I loved being able to spontaneously go out to my fav dinner spot in the city after work..., then carry on to a new destination bar. We even had a social club established called the Friday Club where wed try out one of Melbournes newest bars each month - email list and signup webpage included! We met some amazing people along the way. 10 years on its a different chapter to the story. Shout out to those who have little humans to pick up from school or childcare, have laundry and dishes piled up from the week that was and four-legged pets to walk. As well to those building their own business where the next few evenings may be spent working to create a better future. Were with you on the journey. See more

10.01.2022 Were all in this together. Ive chosen to work from home and keep the kids home too. [goodbye sanity] Completing client work is challenging ...right now. Im thankful for my clients and their patience. Im trying to stick to some sort of activity schedule for the kids to follow. So even though its #campquarantine at my place, Im still going to support the local biz owners so they have a business to return to after its safe to return to normality.
