25.01.2022 A no nonsense, no options service does not necessarily mean a cheap and nasty experience and images. In fact by sticking to what I do well it results in a no compromise outcome. Over the years I have pretty well tried it all and right now I have settled on what works best for me and my clients. If you like what you see on here, or from your family or friends experiences working with me then get in contact. If I have your wedding date available then I come out to meet you and ...show you some more of my work. If we get along and you would like me to photograph your wedding I get you to sign a contract and pay a deposit. If the opportunity arises we arrange a pre-wedding shoot, that way you get to experience what it will be like on the day and I get an idea of what works with you. On the day I aim to capture the preparations right through until I have captured the full essence of your day. Sometimes that is right up until the wedding couple leave and other times earlier if you just want to relax and enjoy your day with your loved ones. Unlike with many photographers there are no set limits on locations or time. The only restrictions are practicalities such as travel distance and time, safety and of course your enjoyment on the day. In the week after the event I will make available around 20 images as low res files that you can share with loved ones or as you wish. A couple of weeks after this I will meet with you to go through your images and your final files will be supplied via Dropbox and USB as both high resolution files for printing and low resolution for social media sharing. There will be no watermarks, no tricks, no extra costs. I will also advise of some of the better photo printers and album manufacturers I have worked with and give you tips to ensure the best results. I appreciate that my work is not for everyone (surprisingly, neither is my personality!) but if you chose to work with me not only will I give you 100% effort to give you amazing images from your wedding but just as importantly help to make the day as enjoyable and stress free as possible. Fixed price, no extras - $2,500. (If your wedding is located outside of an area that I can reasonably and safely travel to and from on the day of the wedding from metro Melbourne you will need to cover travel and accommodation expenses. If your wedding takes place across multiple days and/or multiple areas more than 2 hours apart we can negotiate a suitable fee.)

19.01.2022 Photography can tend to be such a 'literal' media form. Even the cameras on our phones are capable of recording things with such clarity and detail at the push of a button. I like the audience to engage with my work, to look at in and contemplate what I'm communicating. I myself am a very literal person, with the finest detail extremely important, so even if the details aren't immediately apparent to the audience they are there. I'm not into creating 'decoration', my personal work is a visual journey through my social commentary. Abstraction and Impressionism feature strongly in my personal work.

12.01.2022 Horticulture has been my family trade for generations. I am a qualified horticulturist and it was taking photos to study plants where my love of photography really took hold. I have been fortunate enough to photograph plants, gardens and horticultural facilities around the world. While many plants do have an input from man nobody creates beauty better than God and I marvel at his creativity every time I am out in it.

01.01.2022 I love to stretch the boundaries of portrait photography to create images of you, your loved ones, your family, your friends, your pets, your car, anything, and do it in such a way that you just want to share it with others. I like to meet you in a place that means something to you, a place that you are relaxed and comfortable in and just spend some time getting to know you a bit, trying to capture that on film. A portrait session usually takes between 1-2 hour, depending on ...the amount of 'subjects' I am photographing and of course if kids and animals are involved it may be on the longer end of the scale. I don't set a time limit as that does nothing other than raise the anxiety levels and impact the end result. As with my wedding commissions I just charge a single fee and you are presented with both high and low resolution files of the final edited images. I can then advise you of pro photo labs, album producers and picture framers that I have worked with in the past and given great results. If you're happy, then I'm happy! The fee is $300 for a session. (If you would like me to work is located more than and hour from South East Melbourne - Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula, West Gippsland, etc are all ok - you will need to cover travel and accommodation expenses.)
