17.01.2022 The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it (John 1.5) Archbishop Philip Freier is encouraging us all to light a light for Melbourne... and Victoria, as a symbol of Gods light piercing into the darkness of our own despair. Every night at curfew place a light in your window and pray. Join in the wave of prayer > more information & prayer resources can be found here: www.cathedral.org.au/CandlesAtCurfew #CandlesAtCurfew #Melbourne #Victoria.

13.01.2022 The first of the talks produced by St George's College, Jerusalem. This one is on Bethlehem and has some wonderful history on the place. It is by Mary June Nestler who is an Episcopalian priest and an archeologist. She has worked and lived in Israel for many years, and incidentally led the trip to Jordan last year that a few people from the parish went on. Enjoy!

10.01.2022 We remember today, with thanksgiving, those men and women who have made the supreme sacrifice for us in the defence of our country. We pray for their families, and for ourselves whose freedom was won at such a cost, that the offering of their lives may not have been in vain. We ask for your protection over those who are currently serving in the Forces and for those whose lives have been forever changed because of their time of service. Make us a people zealous for peace and dedicated to the cause of justice and freedom for all.
