Contact Lens related issues New red eye signs or symptoms Eye pain or discomfort Flashes or floaters in vision Sudden changes in vision or double vision Eye trauma and foreign body removal Ocular medicine prescriptions (eg Glaucoma drops) Eyelash removal Severe headaches Diabetic ocular exam Referrals from other doctors and health professionals Tele-health options are available as of today We now have an after hours emergency phone number available: 0460 634 591 which can be used 24/7 We have also taken multiple measures to ensure the safety of those patients who need to present as well as our staff and the general community including: We have reduced our operating hours and are spreading out appointment times so you are unlikely to see another patient in the practice at the same time. Waiting room chairs have been spread apart as well as removal of magazines, children's toys and other non-essential items. Hand sanitiser available at reception. Breathe shields installed on our slit-lamp microscopes Hand washing, wiping of surfaces and swabbing of equipment at every patient encounter. Gloves will be worn for certain examinations and procedures. We are asking that any spectacle frames tried on are left on the bench so we can clean them properly prior to going back on display. Our current trading hours are 9am to 3pm weekdays but these are subject to change. Stay safe everyone!

To ens...ure that your visit with us is as safe and comfortable as possible we are continuing our extremely diligent hygiene practices as well as taking extra precautions. All testing equipment, seats and surfaces will continue to be cleaned with disinfectant before and after each eye test More regular hand washing and sanitising Appointments will be booked further apart in order to to reduce numbers in the waiting room As always we offer postage for your contact lenses and frames If you wish to try on frames during your visit, we ask that you use the hand sanitiser provided. Frames will be thoroughly sanitised before and after you try them on. We ask that if you are feeling unwell or have travelled overseas recently to please reschedule your appointment.
