21.01.2022 An intact corduroy bridge dating back to Toowoombas settlement in the 1800s has been uncovered during roadworks on James Street. Due to the type of soil at th...e site, archaeologists have unearthed perfectly preserved items such as leather belts and shoes. Hopefully some of the ideas get some traction..Lets hope we see some more student projects looking at some of our other problem areas. 10.01.2022 Whilst the world around us slowly grinds to a halt, its (almost) business as usual at Sims White. Because we started working from home our IT and phone systems ...are all in place to work from home, and because our staff are highly skilled were able to work independently. So rest assured that although there will be some inevitable impacts on our projects, our team will be able to provide you with continuity of service through this unprecedented time.

10.01.2022 Our design philosophy is to work with our clients to create something unique that reflects who they are, and how they live. We use our skills to look at how we ...can make the best of their site and overlay practicalities of privacy, noise control, buildability and climate. Following a good site analysis, we start to look at planning of the spaces, then aesthetics. One of our wonderful clients put together this collection of precedent images, to show us their aesthetic preferences. This is one tool we regularly use to get an idea of what our clients like and in this case theres a real strength and clarity to the idea - were looking forward to seeing the outcome of this one.
