19.01.2022 Do you feel like you don’t have ‘enough’ motivation in achieving a big goal your life? If you consistently feel like you don’t have enough motivation, this will usually lead to underperformance in what you are aiming for and can strengthen related beliefs like ‘it’ is too hard, maybe I’ll do ‘it’ later!! And the procrastination postpones the bad mood until later. But let’s look closer. Motivation is simply the desire to do something, it is simply that, just a desire, nothing ...more. It comes and goes like any emotion or sensation does. You might wake up some day and just not be bothered, or maybe not give a fu**! And feel no motivation at all! And you do the entirely opposite thing to avoid taking any action towards the end goal, such as playing on the phone or watching Netflix! Here is a way to break this pattern of WAITING to feel motivated and has to do with shifting perspective. Motivation is never felt ALL of the time. You are just setting yourself up for consistently feeling bad if you believe you need to wait for motivation in order to do something. In order to break this loop, firstly acknowledge motivation as a sensation that comes and goes. Allow yourself to disconnect from the feeling of not being motivated! Do this by saying to yourself, I accept this feeling lazy or even thank it! What you are actually doing is starting to see motivation as not being you, it is just a thought!! You are not your thoughts. And then remember your commitment to your end goal!! This is the goal that you have previously decided to aim for! Why do you want this? The answer is very important. The more important the ‘why’ the better. Because the more you can feel the ‘why’ for your goals the less likely you will fall into the procrastination pit!! And over time, as you continue to take action, you are flexing that muscle to be in alignment with your goals instead of waiting for the outside to be in alignment with you. You will see it for what it is-a motivation trap!! https://unsplash.com/photos/Vc1pJfvoQvY

15.01.2022 . I encourage my clients to experience the emotions that are coming up for them. Sometimes it can be scary and that's when it's important to have someone holding your hand letting you know that it'll be ok. I've been doing some deep EFT work with people to or creating pain and not allowing them to move forward. I'm giving a complimentary session to 5 people.

11.01.2022 Personally experiencing the change from Overwhelming to Calming Down and Taking Responsibility... I had a lovely recent reminder of how effective a daily habit can be. Recently, I woke up and I was overwhelmed. I had slept in and already felt late, felt I didn’t have time for my full routine, never mind time for breakfast. I had to get to work ASAP because there was so much I had to do! Or so I thought! I needed to be moving at 100% as I only had a certain amount of time! Bu...t on this morning, it was different, part of me caught myself in that moment and before I knew it I was sat down, doing my daily habit of self-tapping with the timer set for 6 mins, followed by a brief 2 mins visualisation of the day ahead and how I wanted to experience it. Now, the beauty of this was that I was able to join up the dots between feeling overwhelmed I’m one moment and instead of giving in and rushing around and therefore expecting all these challenges and difficulties to present themselves for the day ahead I knew I needed to press pause, and I did. The simple act of taking the 10 mins allowed me to save my day, to reset the start to my day and I experienced an entirely different day. Building a daily habit, for me, is not just for the days you feel good, it is for those other days. To make it more likely that you will take the time for yourself especially when you feel you don’t have the time, because this is when you need it the most!! Pressing pause actually allows you to use your time better, it only costs minutes! It was a reminder that I have so much impact on my own day, and to take responsibility, that my daily habit helped!! Ultimately it is one step at a time!! See more

02.01.2022 How do I know EFT will work for me?? A common question of my clients sometimes is How do I know EFT will work for me?? EFT Tapping has the word emotional in the title (Emotional freedom technique) - I don’t see myself as an ‘emotional’ person and I’m not really good at feeling into my body!! That’s a normal thought, it is so very common. Back when I started EFT I was looking at it from the outside trying to understand how it works and that was what I thought! ... How does touching a few points on my face and upper body lead to reducing tension in the body, or reducing cravings towards something sweet, or letting go of a frustration or sense of overwhelm in minutes?!? I brought my chemical engineering mindset to the table and still couldn’t understand it. What I have seen over and over though are consistent and long lasting results in both myself, my clients, and at various training sessions since 2015. Results that have blown me away! Did you know EFT has been described as acupuncture without the needles and that there are over 120 peer reviewed journals outlining its efficacy from clinical trials? To benefit from EFT, the client doesn’t need to be able to feel into the body like you might think a medium or mystic does. It can be as subtle as a tightness in the shoulder or a shallow breath that the client, for example, might feel! Everybody is different and EFT is a flexible process, and can be adjusted to the client with a good practitioner! EFT can also be called a Meridian Based Energy Psychology but I stuck with tapping, it’s simple. But it is powerful when done consistently and safely!!
