As I suggested to this lovely lady that we undo the very long fishtail braid I’d just completed I had to swallow my pride. At the risk of looking like ‘I didn’t know what I was doing’ I made the decision to openly discuss what I thought was ...happening and suggested a different option that could work better for her. I could have let pride get in the way and just kept going on with something I was not really happy with but instead we backtracked found a new direction and look where we ended up!
