25.01.2022 Barely the day has started and it's already six in the evening. Barely arrived on Monday and it's already Friday, the month is almost over and the year is almost done. Already 40, 50, or 60 years of our lives have passed, we realize that we lost our parents, friends and we realize it's too late to go back. So, lets try, despite everything, to enjoy the remaining time. Let's keep looking for activities that we like. Let's put some colour in our gray. Let's smile at the little... things in life that put balm in our hearts. And despite everything, we must continue to enjoy with serenity this time we have left. Let's try to eliminate the afters: I'm doing it after... I'll say it after... I'll think about it after... We leave everything for later like after is ours. What we don't understand is that: Afterwards, the coffee gets cold... afterwards, priorities change... Afterwards, the charm is broken... Afterwards, health passes... Afterwards, the kids grow up... Afterwards parents get old... Afterwards, promises are forgotten... Afterwards, the day becomes the night... Afterwards, life ends... And then it's too late. So, Let's leave nothing for later, because we will still be waiting to see you later. We will lose the best moments, the best experiences, the best friends, and the best family. The day is today. The moment is now. We are no longer at the age where we can afford to postpone what needs to be done right away. So lets see if you have time to read this message and then share it. Work-life balance, body-mind balance, etc, and its not easy. Now with social media and the increased use of the internet, we are flooded with how we should be eating and living. ... Stress or nutritional deficiencies can both cause an imbalance in the body and this might be experienced as mental or physical fatigue, which can severely affect all parts of our health. We are told we need to be paleo, gluten-free, vegan, we should do a keto diet, a juice fast, but we get totally overwhelmed and end up doing nothing to create change because we become so overwhelmed. 23.01.2022 Taking mini-break, whether its a simple weekend away or four-day adventure, is good for you, mentally, physically, and emotionally. Everyone knows that holidays are good for us and Im sure if we asked a room full of people who would like to holiday more often, every hand would shoot up. The anticipation and planning of a holiday away from ... our regular day to day life is proven to give us a mental boost. Its also good for motivating us to set reasonable, short term goals. This in turn means when we complete them we feel a sense of achievement, further boosting our sense of self. l am enjoying my mini-break at the moment, So the short story is, l am planning to have mini breaks a lot more often.

23.01.2022 What book are you reading? l am reading about Happiness, If I asked you, Are you happy?, what would you say?... People associate a lot of feelings and sensations with happiness. Excitement, thrill, joy, ecstasy, exhilaration, victory, inner peace, or satisfaction to name a few What words describe happiness for you? What does it feel like in your body when youre happy? Is it possible to be a happy person even when you dont feel good? Maybe your backs been bothering you, or you had an argument with someone? Do you have to have a sense of elation, excitement, or euphoria to be happy? Can you keep up these intense emotions nonstop? Can you separate the state of inner happiness from other sensations like sadness, frustration, or fatigue? I ask these questions, not to set right or wrong answers, but to get you thinking about what happiness means to you. Remember youre in charge of your emotions. Your emotions arent in charge of you.

What Ive wondered, though, is what in the world does that mean? In my quest for answers, Ive found that it is very much possible to just be yourself.... Our true self is who we really are when we let go of all of the stories, labels, and judgments that we have placed upon ourselves. It is who we naturally are without the masks and pretentiousness. When you let go of the old ways of thinking, follow your bliss, and do what you love, you begin to align with happiness and with peace.

20.01.2022 GO WITH THE FLOW No matter how much structure we create in our lives, no matter how many good habits we build, there will always be things that we cannot control and if we let them, these things can be a huge source of anger, frustration, and stress. 16.01.2022 OUR TURNING POINT IN LIFE. We experience many turning points in our lives, whenever we shift direction this way or that. Perhaps a decision about a relationship, or what interests to pursue. Maybe about an educational or career choice. Some turning points are conscious, others less so; some may be imposed by family or other persuasive people. But all involve turning away from one path, and towards another. ... And they shape the self that you experience and define as you, along the way. In my work, I often ask people to describe what they think were the positive and negative consequences from their key turning points, because theres always a message contained in what you turned away from, or towards. Its a message from your inner or true self, to the self that you identify with. But often, people dont hear what that message is, and what it means. Its giving you a coded message, from yourself to yourself. If you unlock its mystery, it reveals a challenge youre constantly giving to yourself, within both your failures and successes: HAVE YOU FOUND YOUR MESSAGE TO YOURSELF?

13.01.2022 You can handle all of the icky, horrible, uncomfortable feelings that life throws your way. It’s not always going to be fun, but you are capable of handling it. You have so much more strength, wisdom, and grit within you. You can get to the other side of the situation that is dragging you downyou just have to make sure you feel it. If you’re feeling anxious or hurt or like the darkness of the world is swallowing you whole, I hope you let yourself feel it.... I hope you let yourself recognize those situations will not go away if you keep burying them. They will not disappear if you ignore them. They will not go away if you keep them locked up. You have to learn how to work through them. You have to learn how to navigate through the woods and tread the water and climb the mountain without worrying about how far you could fall. Sometimes this learning comes from solo type soul work. Maybe that comes from long walks in nature. Maybe that’s meditation or prayer or spending more time with your yoga mat. Maybe it means you need more solo timeso that you can sit and journal the thoughts that you have. When we slow things down, we find we have more time to do the things that really matter; we can look around and appreciate all the details; we feel connected with our own body, our own mind, with all the people in our lives and with the world around us. When we take a break from the fast track and look around, we can further our understanding and connect with ourselves and with others. We may begin to discover or get to know more deeply what we truly want to achieve. In essence, this is a gentle reminder to live our lives with compassion; to be kind to ourselves so that we may be kind to others. But we need to remember that regardless of what anyone else does or says, we can always choose to take the high road we can always choose to continue to act with integrity and kindness. And at the end of the day it is taking that high road that will bring us inner peace, even amongst the turmoil that others may try to create.

They wanted us to do well in school, and to do whatever was necessary to reach our highest potential. Later in life, friends may try to set us up with their idea of the perfect partner or the perfect job. Spouses may have agendas for us, too. ... People close to us may have ideas about how we should live our lives, ideas that usually come from love, and the desire for us to be happy. Other times, they come from a place of need within them--whether it is the parent who wants us to live out his or her dreams or the friend or spouse who wants us to play an already-defined role. Whatever the case, we can appreciate and consider those peoples input, but ultimately we must follow our own inner guidance. There may come a time when all the suggestions can become overbearing. We may feel that the people we love dont approve of our judgment, which can hurt our feelings. It can interfere with the choices we make for our lives by making us doubt ourselves, or filling a void with their wishes before weve had a chance to decide what we want. It can affect us energetically as well. We may have to deal with feelings of resistance or the need to shut ourselves off from them. We are all familiar with the metaphorical story of two people looking at the same glass and one perceiving it as half-full while the other sees it as half-empty. ... As much as we've heard this, it's still a valuable exercise to really observe our minds and notice whether we are engaged in half-full or half-empty thinking. People will refer to themselves as being of one type or the other as if it was a permanent characteristic, but we are all capable of shifting into a half-full consciousness if we simply make the effort. 05.01.2022 HARD AT WORK PUTTING TOGETHER A NEW FLYER. You see them every dayin the mail, at work or school, on community bulletin boards, in store windows: Flyers. Thats right, those bits of paper that often end up in the trash, trampled in the street, or buried under a pile of bills. ... But l am hoping to put together a flyer that catchers your attention and maybe even get you to take some action. And not end up in the recycling bin. 04.01.2022 Do you feel burned out trying to keep other people happy? Do you let others walk all over you because youre afraid to stand up for yourself? Im sure there are people you respect because they dont take nonsense from anyone. Theyre not afraid to say no, and they do it with such poise and grace. So why do you feel such resistance when it comes to standing up for yourself? Often we dont say no to people because were afraid it might offend them or create tension in a rel...ationship. Were taught to be kind to others, but we ultimately need to find the balance between being kind and being firm. Otherwise, we give others permission to take advantage of us. When I set boundaries and stick to them, I find that I have more time and energy to put towards the things and people I love. Standing up for yourself and your time can make a huge impact on your well-being and life satisfaction. Are you a people pleaser?

03.01.2022 To travel is to take a journey into yourself, At the moment l am on a road trip heading up the coast, finding self. Travel can give us a much-needed opportunity to really get back to who we are, what makes us tick, and potentially rediscover parts of ourselves that have been lost in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. ... Theres nothing quite like a long drive on an open road to help clear the mind. It goes without saying that travel can have so many benefits. One of the greatest rewards of traveling is taking empowering steps in self-development. Not only am l actively seeing for myself places that l may only have seen in pictures, but at the same time, l am building a myriad of memories that will be with me for a lifetime. The joys of such an adventure are helping me to discover things about myself that l would never have realized from the comfort of my home. We may be great lovers of beauty, seeing it in the people, places, and things around us, while completely missing it in ourselves. ... Often we come to the mirror with expectations and preconceived notions about the beauty that blind us from seeing ourselves clearly. As a result, we miss the beauty that is closest to us, the beauty we are. Sometimes we see our beauty in a shallow way, noticing how well we are conforming to social norms, but failing to see the deeper beauty that shines out from within and that will continue to shine regardless of how we measure up to societys ideal. The best way to keep ourselves in touch with our own beauty is to keep looking deeply into our own souls and opening our eyes to the human being we see in the mirror every day.
