14.01.2022 Welcome to Stepping Stone Support Care! This is our story. Dealing with the challenges of today requires passionate problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. Stepping Stone emerged out of a pursuit to fill the gaps in supporting those in need, a strong connection to community and a desire for actions to speak louder than words.... Established by Mother and Daughter Tina and Jessica who between them have 50 years experience working within Government and the Community sectors, we are now a service driven by progressive ideas, passion and dedication. Stepping Stone believes that a single action can make a difference in the community, and that collective action can greatly impact the world. Through our support services and outreach activities, our team works tirelessly each day to contribute their part to the greater good of our local community and to those under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) with psychosocial and dual disability. With access to the right resources, people can become empowered by their own abilities and can gain the confidence to fulfill their goals. All of our staff carry Working with Children Checks and Police Checks and we have a variety of skilled Youth Workers, Adult Support Workers, Family Therapists, Trainers and Tradesman employed with us. Our aim is to provide clients of the NDIS the best possible care and service in accordance to the NDIS Safety Commissioners policy, procedures and price guide. Learn more about our services by getting in touch with our team today. About Our Directors Tina is a qualified Family Therapist who has worked under the Australian Government for 35 years within the Aboriginal community and welfare sector. Tina also worked as a Community Mental Health Practitioner working with clients living with disability and experiencing mental illness prior to becoming Co-Founder of Stepping Stone.
