20.01.2022 2020 Theme: Shaping Peace Together 'Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on 21 September. The UN General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, through observing 24 hours of non-violence and cease-fire. This year, it has been clearer than ever that we are not each other’s enemies. Rather, our common enemy is a tireless virus that threatens our health, security and very way of life. COVID-19 has thrown our world into turmoil and forcibly reminded us that what happens in one part of the planet can impact people everywhere.'

18.01.2022 Learning English at STEPS AMEP is the first step for Jade realising her working dream. I went to STEPS because I know that STEPS will provide the right courses so we can adapt to life here as soon as possible. I have studied at STEPS for 10 weeks. I feel my listening is better and I speak more now. I have a little bit more confidence. I think studying here is very relaxing. The teachers and the classmates are very friendly.... If you or someone you know is interested in learning English language skills, STEPS AMEP can help. We have classes in Alice Springs, Palmerston and Casuarina.
