16.01.2022 Just back from Bali yesterday, I need to quarantine myself for 14 days. Being an extravert this is daunting as I get my energy from connecting with you! We all need to connect in this time so I thought whats a fun way to do a live video but also bring a sense of purpose. Everyday at 4pm on Facebook I will be live, dressed in a different costume and will share what I am calling a 'life bomb'. A life epiphany which has shifted my perspective on myself, my potential and help...ed me find greater alignment with how I show up in the world. And there will be one thing you can take action on to learn and reflect on yourself. Now is the perfect time to stop and reflect. The world needs to change. This is mine WHY aligning with my new business direction focused on helping people and businesses step up into their purpose and potential. Delivered though my consulting practice, courses and coaching. I incorporate Simon Sinek's why discovery process in my 'Discover your purpose' course. "Each of us has only one WHY. It's not a statement about who we aspire to be; it expresses who we are when we are at our natural best.'. It's typically an origin story created by the meaning you took away from early childhood experiences. It's one of the deepest parts of the course as you have to reflect back on all the experiences that made you who you are. Though it's good to remember who we think we are does not reflect our true potential.

08.01.2022 This quote rings true more now than ever. It's easy to get frustrated with expectations and plans dashed. Now is the time to stop, accept, reset, reflect and be patient. Let the answers come. For once in our lifetime we have been given permission to stop. Take this opportunity to recreate and visualise new possibilities. Have you been on the right path? Doing the right job or career? Are you truly living your passions? What gifts could you bring to world? ... Enjoy time at home or in nature to think. Meditate. Read. Simply be. The answers will come, in divine timing through connecting with yourself

04.01.2022 My Octopus Teacher doco on Netflix is a beautiful and inspiring story of self discovery and connection with another living being to find greater meaning. A mans journey to reconnect with himself, his purpose and Ikigai. What I found interesting was how his journey was guided by reflecting back to what he loved in childhood - playing and exploring in the ocean. After losing himself in his professional life this was what guided him back to his truth and excitement in life.... Like me when I went through depression and lost my purpose 3 years ago I was called to the Bali Spirit Festival to reconnect with myself. This combined all my passions for travel, nature, festivals, spiritual practices and dance. My saviour was the dance floor which after many hours every night dancing and enjoying the natural high sparked the vision for what would become Xstatic Sunsets - my Ikigai purpose. Often we need to get lost before we can find ourselves. The truth of who your really are is typically discovered through reflecting on your childhood - when were you in your true excitement and flow growing up? Its devoting time and energy to this passion which is the compass to discovering your purpose. I am excited to be launching a new 'Discover your purpose and Ikigai workshop' which combines all my learning's and tools to help you on your path with greater clarity.
