06.01.2022 Exercise Of The Week Single Leg Romanian Deadlift Simple Steps To Do Your Best Single Leg Romanian Deadlift: Step 1: Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and knees slightly bent and raise one leg off the floor. Flex the knee on your standing/support leg about 15-20% to activate the glutes... Step 2: Without changing the bend in your knee, keep your back naturally arched, bend (hinge) at your hips, and lower your torso until it’s almost parallel to the floor. Step 3: Briefly pause at the bottom, then squeeze you glutes, thrust your hips forward, and raise your torso back to the starting position. Step 4: Repeat until you complete the prescribed number of repetitions (10-15 reps with light or no weight and 6-8 with moderate to heavy weight.shoot for 3 sets on each leg). 04.01.2022 Exercise of the week - Tricep Dips This exercise is great for toning and strengthening the shoulders and triceps! It’s also an exercise that you can do just about anywhere. 1. Simply find yourself a chair, bench, box, etc and take a seat. ... 2. Place your hands right in close to your bottom, with your palms flat and your fingers curved over the edge of the bench/chair/box. Position your feet with either legs bent (easier) or straight (more difficult). 3. Scoot your bottom off the edge and slowly lower yourself down until your elbows are 90 degrees, in line with your shoulders. 4. Make sure your elbows are going directly backwards, tight to the body, and that your back is touching the bench/chair/box the entire time. 4. Push through your palms and straighten your elbows, keeping your bottom just off the edge. 5. A good tempo is 2 seconds down and 2 seconds up. Repeat until fatigued. Enjoy the burn.
