21.01.2022 Climbing Mt. Shasta (14,180ft) with @burning2freeze ! Absolutely sensational journey. We started with a 2:57am alarm. By 3:30am, we were navigating the trail, creating the first and only tracks on the mountain. Each stride left a thigh deep trail towards the summit. Dylan and I took turns leading the charge, with the leader doing the hard yards in creating the trail and the follower sucking in as much air as possible in preparation for their turn at the front. The difficulty level of the terrain correlated with our gains in altitude. The grind was one of the hardest physical endeavors that I have ever attempted. The weather was beautiful and soft- quiet and not a breath of wind. The scenery was exquisite. And above both, the memories of the journey are unforgettable. #mödern
