24.01.2022 I have had lots of People asking what I am up to since Politics, so for close to 12 months I have been working with Bishopp Outdoor Advertising one of Australia's leading Billboard Companies. I am having an absolute blast, its a great company to work for with an incredible team of people. Those that know me well know I have a passion for planes so it is ultra cool that Bishopp just happens to have a subsidiary company called fighterpilot.com.au which is a adventure flight b...usiness where you can fulfill your childhood dream by taking a blast in a WW2 Icon (either a Mustang P51 or a super fast Russian Yak), be a Top Gun in our Jet or live out your Red Baron fantasy in our classic Aerobatic Biplane. 22.01.2022 Big Thankyou to all those wonderful volunteers who over the last 3 months or so got up early, stood in the sun and rain and letter boxed for this campaign, unfortunately we came up short, but not for lack of effort, It has been an absolute honour to serve the electorate of Capalaba for the last 3 years..........for a lad who at 20 was pretty much on the scrap heap to some 26 years later serving the people of Qld in such an esteemed office has been a privilege that words can't express. Looking forward to the next part of the journey!
10.01.2022 Yesterday the seat of Capalaba was called thus ending my tenure as Capalaba's MP something that I certainly hold dear and will treasure, congratulations to Don Brown on winning the amazing privilege of serving the incredible electorate of Capalaba.....while this Page will remain it will be pretty much mothballed to save many precious images and stories. I will post a link to my personal profile above for those that want to keep in touch. As my final hurrah below is a link from Tony Durkin from the Broncos who did a little story on my mate Jason....meeting and helping folks like Jason and Lisa was why I ran for office and this is a fitting farewell!!
04.01.2022 The ALP's payment for green support seems to be 600 Jobs ( about 40 of which are Capalaba families) reliant on Straddie Sandmining. To be clear I believe that Tourism is the longterm future for the island, but until it is, Sandmining and it's associated business provides much needed jobs and income for the Redlands and Qld
