20.01.2022 Here in Taipei, Track & Field looking very wet so the program has been delayed. Were due to start w 100m womens heats at 5:30 and its now 6:10pm here and nothing yet. Here's hoping by the time it gets to Pool B of the Women's Javelin (probably after 8pm local time now) it may have stopped raining!

04.01.2022 Less then 24 hours left until the World University Games athletics kicks off in Taipei, Taiwan. Kathryn Brooks - Athlete will be competing in the Women's Javelin Qualifier, tomorrow night in Group B at 19:15pm local time or 21:15pm AEST. The auto-qualifying distance for the final is out at 58m but the top 12 athletes will go through to Friday nights final. 03.01.2022 Over the weekend Victoria's Celeste Mucci broke the late Peta Jurson's (nee Kennedy) Australian U20 heptathlon record of 5788 points set in March 1990. For thos...e who don't know Peta sadly passed away from melanoma cancer in 2008. A gifted athlete from Nunawading AC, Peta won multiple junior national titles, represented Australia at the 1988 world junior championships and was the national long jump champion in 1989-90. She also played netball for the Melbourne Phoenix and various other representative teams. Although her record has been surpassed, Peta will forever live on in our memories.
