12.05.2022 StarNow Backstage ...There was MUCH I'd planned to write today, as I went to bed angry at what a TERRIBLE change to the worn, but not fully broken previous 'Starnow' layout now has morphed into with the sudden change of ownership, but frankly; after spending just a little time looking at it now there's little point! If you expect the majority of us are prepared to waste DAYS changing whatever catastrophe you've turned what we spent years updating; you're sadly mistaken! T...here are tiny (only) elements of visual improvements, but you have muddled EVERYTHING up into incorrect categories, deleted MANY files (especially videos and audio samples), ALL messages many of which were castings in progress or consideration, now GONE and lost! And randomly placed OLD photos around the place, in no particular order - especially not the order which we'd previously arranged same! On top of that; you've even managed to completely wipe our manually written breakdowns of work we've done (some of us over many decades!)...And in return for the near complete destruction of all the effort we've made over the years to edit things; you've now RAISED the membership costs, and lowered the benefits for us, and made navigation of the site and audition areas vastly more complex and non user friendly, instead now requiring multiple clicks to see the full job description and details, rather than the previously simply scroll down view! Your pricing is now bordering on the costs of professional casting sites, yet rendered a near USELESS, and far more complicated layout in return! It angers me further, that the site has gone from a tool for actors etc, to what seems to be an English phraseology speaking class, by adding ridiculous 'pronouns' next to our gender; catering to a very tiny minority of 'woke' people who have issues with simple male or female status! I'm not going to bother to waste my time further in adding to this, as like the masses; I think you'll find that unless you restore the previous layout or close to it, AND add back all of our entries CORRECTLY we'll simply fail to renew our membership! ~Steve Mack See more
