20.01.2022 #Repost @wombatstrengthcoach (@get_repost) What a week learning from the man himself Mark Buckley. 5th time through the FMA cert and still write just as many notes and get so much value, especially from the banter. Couldn’t think of a better company to be a part of. Some terrible lids in this photo though @fmastrengthofficial ... #fmastrengthinstitute #fma #knowledgegains #banter #rehab #strength #conditioning See more

18.01.2022 The role of a coach! A coach is someone that will help you strengthen your weaknesses. Because if you don’t strengthen your weakness, it will break. Someone that makes you do the things you don't want to do - so you can BECOME the person you say you want to BE.... It is to have someone in your corner that supports you through the shit that comes up for you, that will stop you from getting what you want to HAVE. Someone that helps you find a way over, around, under or through those things. If there isn’t a way, then we make a way. A coach won’t do it for you, but they will do it with you. They are someone that helps you get to your End Point of becoming an expert in yourself. Who doesn’t want that for themselves? My understanding of being a coach has gone to another level in the past couple months, thanks to my FMA familia. @fmastrengthinstitute #fma #WeAreFMA #stevensonperformance #coaching #coach #athlete See more

17.01.2022 What’s your end point? Your point B? You are at point A. ... The fastest way for you to get from point A to your point B, is to find someone who is already there and learn from them. @fmastrengthinstitute #stevensonperformance #FMA #coaching #learning #growth See more

15.01.2022 As a coach it’s important to cue each individual in a way that is going to work best for them. Giving a cue such as knee’s out, chest up for a squat or deadlift may work for one person but terribly for the next. Finding what someone’s weakness is and what resonates with them most in terms of an internal or external cue is so important. If you give a cue that the individual doesn’t understand or you haven’t explained in isolation what you mean by it then it’s pointless. Fin...d what works for the individual so they perform the movement correctly. To book an assessment email [email protected]

04.01.2022 Keep the bar close! It’s much easier to pick something up when it’s close to you. I usually use the cue to rub the thighs once it’s above the knee but sometimes that doesn’t work.... To book an assessment email [email protected] or DM
