10.05.2022 Mother's Day Staff and Afternoon Tea reminder

02.03.2022 Free RATs for Term 2 To support families who choose to undertake voluntary surveillance testing, 16 million RATs will be distributed from this week for studen...ts, staff and children across the education system to use for at least the first four weeks of Term 2. Testing recommendations will remain the same, with all primary and secondary school students and staff, and early childhood education and care staff and children, encouraged to test at home twice a week. Those at special schools are encouraged to test five days each week due to the higher risk for medically vulnerable children. The Government is also continuing its strong ventilation measures with a further 60,000 air purifiers currently on their way to schools to add to the 51,000 already delivered. Vaccination remains the best way to protect students and staff and children aged 5 to 11 are strongly encouraged to get their first and second doses, and staff and students aged 16 to 17 should get their third dose. #stalbans #getvaxxed #GetYourBooster

08.01.2022 Dear Parents and Families, As communicated previously all schools will move to remote and flexible learning from Wednesday 15th April (Term 2). This means that all students who can learn at home must learn from home. This is a very clear directive from the Victorian Government based on the advice of the Chief Health Officer. We will offer limited on-site supervision for students who need to access this, including for students on days when they are not able to be supervised a...t home and no other arrangements can be made. Please download and complete the On-Site Application form if you feel there are exceptional circumstances that would require your child to be supervised at school. The application form can be found on the school website: www.steveps.vic.edu.au under Recent News. It is important that we work together and support each other during this challenging time. Information on what remote and flexible learning will look like at Stevensville has been sent home to all families and will also available on the website. Please continue to stay safe and healthy.

02.01.2022 Dear Families, Following advice from the Victorian Government on Tuesday 12 May, some students will be returning to school from Tuesday 26 May. The Victorian Chief Health Officer has advised that it is safe for students and teachers to return in a two-staged approach:... Stage 1 from Tuesday 26 May: Early years students (Prep to Grade 2) and senior secondary students (Year 11 and 12) and all specialist school students will return to on-site schooling. All staff will attend on-site. Stage 2 from Tuesday 9 June: Grade 3 to Year 10 students will return to on-site schooling, subject to health advice. It is important that we work together and support each other during this challenging time. We will be in touch with staff and parents shortly with more details. The Department’s latest advice on coronavirus can be found at www.education.vic.gov.au/coronavirus
