21.01.2022 What is it to be eclectic? I mean really eclectic, every song in a different genre type thing. Is that a good idea? What do you think?

21.01.2022 Just chatting about the dilemma of releasing albums - vinyl is pretty niche so not sure if it justifies the cost, and no one has a device to play a CD on any more so the physical thing is becoming non existent. I gotta say though that releasing an album on line is pretty dissatisfying. I don't know, what do you do? Forget albums and just put up songs on some on line platform, who knows which one, and hope it gets streamed? Feels pretty much like a non event to me. I'm missing something here surely. What do you think?

19.01.2022 The album is recorded and mastered. Thinking outside the band and the concept of popular culture being a whole bunch of loops, drum machines and samples pretend...ing to be a band, it is indeed minimalist and real. Called 'Simple Things' it's a book of poetry set to music, and ultimately a collection of classic songs. I'll be posting updates on when it's coming out and how it can be heard. See more

09.01.2022 Been taking up way too much brain space thinking up a name for a vehicle for my music.. So its basically a solo idea with the opportunity of bringing in guests whenever and however. So this is the one that has stuck longer than others, what do you think?

08.01.2022 38Riv, a jazz bar in a 13th century basement in Paris. Some of the folks I played with while in France. Its a group the singer had put together for an album and they had just come out of the studio. Forgot the name though, sorry about that. The album would be coming out soon I would think. The cello player is an IT pro that had just landed a job in Coppenhagen researching artificial intelligence for music. It seems he's figured out how to punch a whole lot of descriptive words into a program and it comes up with a composition to it. They landed a contract with Mercedies Benz for an upcoming ad, so it will be interesting how it goes.
