23.01.2022 The next guitar I want to build is inspired by a Telecaster Elvis played. Nice butterscotch colour with a bigsby circ 1950s. Started to hollow out the body today.

23.01.2022 Two coats of primer paint.

23.01.2022 Installed two TV Jones Super-tron pickups and the tuners. Just the electronics left to do and a custom pick guard.

21.01.2022 Warmer weather, time to start guitar building. Picked up this lovely wood last year at the Melbourne wood and timber show which will make a nice top for this Tele.

20.01.2022 Just started work on this body I’d glued up last week, sanding and shaping the contours. It will be ( when completed) a one humbucker pickup strat shaped guitar.

20.01.2022 Thin line guitar with a B5 bigsby complete.

19.01.2022 Attached the bridge with the very important earth wire underneath and attached the neck. Electronics to do and this guitar is ready for strings.

19.01.2022 Completely overhauled the previous work I did on this guitar. Changed the binding to pearl /white, re sprayed the back and stained the top after sanding it right back. Now it’s ready for clear coating.

18.01.2022 Spray painted this new guitar body and neck today in fiesta red.

14.01.2022 Wired up waiting for some machine heads.

14.01.2022 Made some headway on the guitar neck, sprayed black, lacquered and polished. Also added the machine heads.

12.01.2022 Spent hours wet standing the guitar body and polished it. Also installed the 2 lipstick pickups. Ready to do the electronics next.

10.01.2022 Almost finished the Danelectro 59. It has the most difficult electrics I’ve ever come across in a guitar but it works.

10.01.2022 Finished sanding and grain filling the guitar body ready for painting.

07.01.2022 Just covered this hollow body and cut out the neck pocket. Also did a small round over on the edges. Now for some serious sanding.

04.01.2022 Workshop crushed by one tree

03.01.2022 Finished this one up. Semi-hollow body guitar with gold foil pickups giving a bright sound.

03.01.2022 All last the work on my workshop after a tree fell on it 5 months ago, has begun.
