My All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast is on again this Saturday and Sunday. ... *** 681 Deception Bay Rd, Deception Bay *** As a small business, events like this can make a huge difference with keeping our shop above water or sinking to the bottom of the ocean. Please, if you are looking for somewhere different to eat which also provides variety and affordability then we are the place for you. My staff and I work hard to put on these breakfasts and the only way it works is if customers show up. We must have ample food ready for our customers when they arrive so if very little customers actually come in to try the breakfast then it can end up being a huge financial loss. Please support us. These breakfasts account for a very large proportion of our weekly sales. Please share our post, tell your friends and family members about it and come on down and enjoy breakfast. Thank you all so much. We look forward to seeing you ALL this weekend.

18.01.2022 Hi. Wow.... what a day. We had a busy morning with our All-You-Can-Eat breakfast this morning. Thanks to everyone who attended. ... I want to say sorry to anyone who had to wait longer then expected due to waiting for food to be cooked or served. Unfortunately I was unprepared for the number of customers and was under stocked. Even after 4 dash’s to the shops for more supplies, we still struggled to keep up. I’m truly sorry that some people walked away unhappy. I did say from the begging that there will be hiccups and things will go wrong. Running out of supplies is something that I don’t want to happen in the future and as we get more experience and a better understanding of patron numbers, I am sure we will improve. Please stick by us. We appreciate your understanding and patience. With a few changes, I hope to make Steves All You Can Eat breakfasts your favourite weekend breakfast spot. Thanks Again.

17.01.2022 Hi Everyone. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who dropped in for our all you can eat breakfast today. The positive feedback was overwhelming and the kind words from our customers has me grinning ear to ear..... thank you. ... It was a great mix of customers in and it was awesome to see happy smiling and FULL customers at the end of their meal. It’s on again tomorrow 6:30 to 10:30. If you couldn’t make it today..... there’s always tomorrow. Thanks for the support.

16.01.2022 Please check your new temporary opening hours. As some of you may know I own several shops and unfortunately Im stretched between the two shop trying to make both survive. The Deception Bay shop is still growing and has very little sales. I’ve looked at the hours that we have had little sales so have tried to adapt the temporary hours to suit. ... We will be moving to early hour opening in the next few weeks and in the mean time while we get ready I need to introduce these temporary hour changes. 11.01.2022 Sorry to say but the All-you-can-eat breakfasts that were planned for this weekend have to be cancelled due to the lockdown being imposed upon us. I understand the need to protect the community but as a already struggling business who depends on events such as the breakfasts that we run, it absolutely pains me that we have to do this. I had already brought all the food for the weekend which now can not be used. ... I hope it helps combating the spread but feels like it’s another kick in the guts for already struggling small businesses. Stay safe everyone.

06.01.2022 Hi all. I’m brainstorming some ideas and would love everyone’s opinions. 1) First idea would be kids parties. ... Full set up with food, cake, entertainment etc supplied. The shop has the space and we have all the open grass area next door to use for games and entertainment. What would be a suitable price per head and what food would be good. 2) Next idea is a live band once a month. We have the patio area that we could set a stage up on and would love to see family’s bring a picnic rug and relax, enjoy the music and some of our food of course . 3) All you can eat breakfast on Sunday Mornings. Just like a buffet breakfast but would be served up by staff due to Covid restrictions. But it would all be cooked. You would just go up to counter and choose the what you want on your plate. As many times as you can handle. What would be a good price for this? 4) Roast Meals. You would call ahead and order for pick up but there would be options to get single serves or family packs. All cooked including sides etc and you pick up at a certain time. How much would you pay for this? I’m thinking this would be a Sunday night thing. 01.01.2022 Hi everyone. I hope your all enjoying your weekend. I just wanted to address a small issue we have had today. ... Several customers have come onto the shop while I’m either preparing a meal or on the phone serving a customer. After waiting a short period and I do mean short, less then 2 mins max they have turned around and walked out. One man drove off shaking his head at me after I told him I won’t be long, needed to wash my hands as I had just been handling raw fish. Another gentleman said if we wanted to make it work, I have to be more quicker serving customers but was on the phone taking a $70 order. I want to be clear. I want to serve every customer that comes through the door. This shop is my bread and butter but if I am already in the middle of taking an order or preparing an order, you may need to be patient until I can get to you. I work most of the day by myself and get a junior in to help at the busy times. I have no idea what day and times we will be busy as we are a new shop. We are not making money atm so there is no point in me having staff standing around doing nothing if it’s going to be quiet. I cant afford that. I’m only human and try my best to get things done as quickly as possible. Everything is made to order. If you want you fish battered or crumbed we do that on the spot ect. Calamari gets cut and crumbed on the spot also. I simple ask that customers please be patient and support me while our shop grows. If you don’t like to wait, you can call ahead or order online through our website or on Ubereats, DoorDash or MENULOG. I appreciate your understanding in this and I hope you can see how hard I’m working to make this shop a successful place. I don’t want me or my staff feeling like we are not trying hard enough because long 14 hour days for little to no money is a hard slog as it is, but getting abused only adds to the frustration.
