23.01.2022 Throw back Thursdays One of the very first videos we ever shot. The David Andrew Trio shoot was a fun one and wouldnt have come about if not for a cafe we used to hang out at. We were talking to our good friend Vanessa (who owns the aforementioned cafe) about shooting a new video and she mentioned an abandoned retail store across the road. Long story short, we got permission, picked up the keys and walked in around 7pm on a Monday night.... We wanted to compliment the industrial nature of the space so set up a few pallets that were lying around as a drum and bass cab rider. Everything else was how we found the place when we walked in. The whole thing was shot with 2 shooters using 3 x 120 watt halogen lights that we just moved around as we needed. Wed already made the decision to cut the video in B&W so the halogens created some nice high contrasts and threw some really cool shadows on the back walls. We all walked out of there round 2am and are still pretty happy with the results. 18.01.2022 Pretty excited about this one. Yeah Nah Yeah are a Sydney based duo that weve had a crush on for the last couple years. We shot their very first video in a couple of hours in front of a garage door just so they had something to sell. We were super excited to get a bit more time, pick a nice location and shoot with some new gear. Thank you so much Event Entertainers for asking us to be a part of this. We shot this at La Porte Space in Roseberry, Sydney. They have a collecti...on of beautiful spaces but we were instantly drawn to the courtyard. It was shot in 3hrs with no artificial light and the boys put the track together themselves. For this one we used a Sony a7iii, Tamron 28-75 f2.8 and our brand new Ronin SC. The Ronin was great!! Lockable motors makes a sea of difference. Well done Ronin. We shot it across a couple of hours at the amazing Bistro Moncur Mosman yesterday and finished the edit this afternoon. Always a pleasure working with EE and Josephine Ison crushed it with the script delivery. Pretty happy with how this came out.

14.01.2022 This was a lot of fun to shoot! Rhiannon asked us if we could make a little clip for her new song 25. We had 3 hours on a Wednesday night and her apartment. An apartment she was just about to move out of. We thought wed run with that. After clearing away what was left of the furniture and hooking up some discreet extra lighting we got to shooting. Rhiannon nailed the performance in take 1 but we needed a couple of extras to get the framing and story right but we got there ...in the end. 13.01.2022 Hows this for a stunning location?? We shot this at Crooked River Wines in Gerringong on the south coast of NSW. Mark Dabin came to us wanting a new promo vid to help land a few more gigs around the south coast. He had recorded all the audio himself and we shot the whole thing to playback. Mark knew his parts inside out so we flew through the shoot with mark playing the whole medley from start to finish. 12.01.2022 This was a super fun and fast shoot. The boys from Roar Sky Harvey contacted STF because theyd just finished recording a new single and wanted a music video to go with it. The guys had a bit of a concept in mind that sounded awesome and so we jumped at it. We allocated 4hrs to shoot and as these things always turn out, we ended up with just a little over 2. The guys had found an awesome little studio in Western Sydney called Green Key Studio that had a motorised revolving po...dium and boy did we put that to good use. The song is a total banger too. 01.01.2022 We recently had the pleasure of shooting a music promo video for the guys from Vale Music. Shot on location at The Winery in Surry Hills (Thank you Australian Venue Co!), we utilised three scenes at the venue to bring their video to life. The duo brought us a studio version of their demo recording, featuring a medley of their best pop songs. With one camera operator we filmed their video in 3 hours, utilising the natural light in the venue during the daytime. The Boys smas...hed it out of the park on the day. Arriving on set and knowing their stuff meant we flew through each scene. Josephine Ison from Event Entertainers was also on hand to style the venue, and style the boys.
