25.01.2022 Hello and welcome to today’s episode of: MELBOURNE WAS IN LOCKDOWN FOR A LONG TIME. My human @violet_riot arrived back in Perth a few weeks ago & after some lengthy quarantine we decided to have a hair date to cheer things up a little. We could have gone bright all over & stuck with blue however we would have been working with it FOREVER if we didn’t make the changes now, blue is a process and a half to remove & mostly - you can’t remove it. Just work around the colour whee...l and hope that maybe one day it will stop appearing when your hair starts to fade Carly isn’t based in Perth these days, but this correction will open up some options for her next hairdresser! 25.01.2022 @aleishaamaree got new wefts, party time! As you can see in the first photo, there was a lot of short breakage at the back of Aleisha’s hair - during lockdown someone did a home bleach Since then we have been only tinting the roots and applying Vivids to the ends to prevent further damage. ... We safely lightened out the roots using scattered foils and installed 150g of double drawn seamless flat wefts that we custom coloured in the hair. We don’t advertise extensions, as we are very mindful of who we apply them on (you need to be able to look after them and your hair) but we definitely do them! Love looking after you @aleishaamaree

23.01.2022 It’s us, your friendly neighbourhood health moms making sure all our babies are safe! We know the borders opening to our lower risk states is fab, however less than 24 hours in there are now restrictions in place for travellers from some of the states. We love that the WA government is committed to keeping us safe, and we just want to be sure with all the movements and changes that we can do the same for our team & of course, YOU! 22.01.2022 Our beauty @katehannah Kate is the maximalist, rainbow, arts and crafts, home decor, swishy, fashion designer, swoon worthy, VIBRANT owner of @pommstudio and creator of @pjunk_by_katehannah There’s TOO many fun, happy words that can describe the shiny, sparkly glow that Kate brings to our studio. ... I always used to see @katehannah on socials and unlike a lot of influencers i ACTUALLY wanted to work with her and get to know her because she’s not just an internet persona she’s REALLLLLL! Sometimes when she hugs you, you actually get some sparkle on you. She 100% supports us at the salon and as individuals and we are seriously just so lucky. We’ve got the coolest people around us. The freakin COOLEST! That includes YOU! Big colour change up by @caitlyn_svs

18.01.2022 Swipe for that before! Big change for our pal Tamarah! After a big consult, Caitlyn and Tamarah came to the conclusion that getting to blonde in one go wasn’t a viable option. During our test strand to check for the hair condition, there was a LOT of breakage so we went for a more gentle approach. ... Caitlyn went through and gave tamarah’s hair a decent haircut to ensure no further damage & Then applied a full head of teased balayage foils with Muk lightener and 3% developer. We also picked out any hair left out between the foils and freehanded the ends so we had more solid light throughout the ends. Toner: Base: 66.0 + 6.0 equal parts + drop 5.0 with Hybrid intense lotion. Ends: 7.32 + drop of 7.1 with Hybrid lotion. This was a great result considering the starting canvas & we will hopefully be able to get to a lighter result in future! Hair by @caitlyn_svs

18.01.2022 @sustainablesalonsanz ditched the Christmas presents this year and instead of spending that budget on getting all their clients (including us) cards - we got to each choose an organisation to donate to! We donated our gift to NeuRA what a fab idea.

17.01.2022 To my lovely clients: IM SORRY TO EVERYONE I HAD TO LIE TO ABOUT WHY I WASN’T AT WORK ON THE WEEKEND Since not everyone follows me on my personal account, had to share my Halloween celebrations here for proud wife reasons ... Swipe to the last photo to see me, the dork, CLAPPING THAT WE GOT HITCHED yes, I’m that person. Thank you to @fuscous.fury for being the best photo gal (and a GREAT client) @nat_svs for literally being my numero uno sidekick & the whole freakin team at work who mostly only found out the night before, oops Ps: I still don’t do wedding hair, all I could manage for my own was a measley bun that I threw together in the car with whatever Bobby pins I could find while at the traffic lights - life.
