23.01.2022 As a young woman, Mary MacKillop saw a need for the education of young people - particularly the poor and marginalised. One of St Mary's well known quotes, which she strived to live out on a daily basis was: "Never see a need without doing something about it." In honour of the Feast Day of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop (8 August), the Pope Francis leaders created a mosaic. This mosaic has been blessed by Father Ronnie and it will be displayed at the Mary MacKillop Chapel as a reminder of the impact she has had on our Catholic faith.
