13.01.2022 We look forward to joining with our L'Arche friends in joint worship this Sunday, the first Sunday of Advent, preparing ourselves to welcome Christ into the world. Come Lord Jesus! Please note - due to covid restrictions have limits on our numbers - it would be helpful if you are able to message us to let us know if you are coming or not. Please send message to Andrea on 0448 380 717 or email [email protected] or pm though facebook. If you know of others attending please advise. We meet at 10am and ask that you bring your own morning tea for Sunday, and a folding chair (or a chair will be provided) - we will have our morning tea and chat in the great outdoors under the gum tree. Doing our best to keep everyone safe!

09.01.2022 Tomorrow we are remembering lives lost through suicide - online remembrance for International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day "God's understanding and compassion infinitely surpass our own. Our lost loved ones are in safer hands than ours. If we, limited as we are, can already reach through this tragedy with some understanding and love, we can rest secure in the fact that, given the width and depth of God's love, the one who dies through suicide meets, on the other side, a compassion that's deeper than our own and a judgement that intuits the deepest motives of their heart." - Ronald Rolheiser

09.01.2022 Let nothing disturb you, Let nothing frighten you, All things are passing away: God never changes. Patience obtains all things.... Whoever has God lacks nothing; God alone suffices. - St. Teresa of Avila

06.01.2022 URGENT REQUEST FOR SUPPORT Across Australia, people seeking asylum in Community Detention have been given just three weeks to find work (after being denied the ...right to work for years) and a new place to live in the middle of a global pandemic! We're urgently looking for anyone in #Adelaide who has an apartment, house or maybe a Granny Flat to rent to a wonderful couple in this situation (who, despite all the obstacles in front of them, have already found part-time work and can contribute towards the cost of rent alongside financial support from organisations). Please comment below, message the page or email [email protected] if you can help! The kindness and generosity of our community is overwhelming - you respond with care, love and welcome over and over again. We''d love your support once more - please share with your networks! #SayWelcome #StrongerTogether
