21.01.2022 The Campdraft will commence at 11am Friday, with the first rounds of Novice A & B. Please hand in your health declaration at the gate on arrival. Should the gate be unattended please proceed to the office. Spectors will also be required to sign in.

18.01.2022 Well our border zone drafts are done for the year and a wonderful weekend of campdrafting at St George finished.The committee would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that helped over the weekend in the office, front gates, scoring, backyards, & mustering before the draft. 10.01.2022 Evening all, just a bit of a wrap up from the Balonne Branch ASHS Campdraft Secretary. I want to thank everyone that has helped in any way over the course of the Draft, show and sale. All volunteers are extremely appreciated by us, because those of you that are in committee positions know the important role they play. So thankyou, also to all Sponsors, Cattle donors, my special little helpers in the Secretary Box, Lorna for doing an amazing job announcing, Phoebe, Jack & Davi...d who helped Lorna when they could, back yard men, grounds men, scorers, front gate helpers, cleaners, barmen, cattle coordinators, truck drivers from Donpons, Hannass water truck,Balonne shire council workers. all the wonderful helpers behind the scenes, the judges for enduring the extreme heat we had to deal with, (I guess I shouldnt forget the flys). Also thankyou to Buck & Dore O'Neil for sponsoring the Junior and Juvenile drafts, and our cutout sponsors, Brian Southern, John Southern, Susie Cutler, Jason & Katie Birney, Ken Southern & Dave & Kate Lyons. We have not been out looking for sponsorship this year, giving our usual sponsors a rest... , as Covid has put a lot of pressure on all small town businesses. We want to Thank the cattle donors as well, the same ones always seem to come forward and for that we are extremely grateful. I also wanted to add, not everyone has been able to get into the St George Draft, for that we are extremely sorry but it is just unfortunate, please take it on the chin, it is not a personal attack we have been inundated with nominations and there is still 400 on the wait list, you may be able to get in next year. You will be hearing from me each day as to the progress we are making with the draft. All competitors that have had their nominations taken will receive emails shortly regarding covid info and as the last 3 drafts Dirran, Bollon and the Gully you will be asked to fill in forms before you get to the draft for siging in purposes. Must sign in and get arm bands to participate. We are having a very basic canteen this year, breakfasts Sat & Sunday morning only, Frid, Sat Sun, fresh sandwiches throughout the day, and hot food at night, there will be no sitting down as it will be grab and go. Unfortunatly no Bar is permitted this year. You are able to BYO. Just remember the covid rules please. talk soon See more
