16.01.2022 St George Randwick SWHL ML5 grand final v Sydney Uni. SGR went 1-0 up. 2-2 at full time. No score during 2 lots of extra time golden goal with drop offs. Unfortunately lost 3-2 in penalty strokes. Awesome effort. Huge thanks to all supporters and coach Colin Chapman and player/coach Shelly Kennedy.

15.01.2022 All the best to our ladies playing at UNSW David Phillips Field on Sunday Great news:- the 1 v 2 game today will be Live-streamed on Vimeo.https://vimeo.com/event/328465/f369e0d529 Although the Government announcement this week, greatly increased allowable numbers of spectators at grounds, the womens comp has chosen to remain no spectators due to the short turnaround and multiple venues involved.

15.01.2022 Covid-19 Restrictions & Live Stream SOPA have confirmed the 500 persons limit at SOP will remain in place for this weekend’s PL Grand Finals. Part of the reason...ing offered by the Venue operator is ; We understand there is frustration surrounding this (limit) as football crowds are higher, however football is ticketed, people are allocated a seat, and unless transiting to a concession, or amenity, they have to remain seated. The hockey games are not like these, they are not ticketed, the crowd is not all seated, and therefore are subject to the 500 pax under the NSW Health directive. It is of note that just because a change may be released from NSW Health we are not required to implement it immediately. Sydney Hockey will be live streaming each PL match, beginning at 12 noon, 2pm & 4pm SH ask that there be a prompt turnaround for spectators. If you are attending one match, please exit promptly to ensure incoming spectators can be accommodated.

07.01.2022 SL Grand Finals 17th & PL GF Qualifiers

06.01.2022 Junior hockey training is less than 2 weeks away. Lets get excited. u9 (5-u9), u11 and u13 training for the 2021 session commencs on Tuesday 16th February at Kyeemagh 5-6pm. These are amended times due to the new turf (so exciting) is being laid down which we expect to be completed by the end of March and then times will be brought forward. If you are new to hockey or are a returning player come on down, the more girls and boys that turn up, the more fun we have. The other... junior teams such as the u15 and the u17 usually train on a Thursday night, however, the laying of turf has deferred them to Saturday mornings until the turf is completed. The starting competition date for the juniors is yet to be determined but it is usually around the end of March /easter for those who like to plan ahead. If you are new to hockey (u9-u17yrs) this year and wish to know more about it before signing your child(ren) up please do not hesitate in contacting St George Randwick Hockey admin on the following email address [email protected] or via facebook or come down to a Tuesday training session (u9-u13) and talk to one of our friendly members. 03.01.2022 Great team for the University of Sydney Hockey Games: with Ranna Abbas, Matt Rennick & Peter Hayes

03.01.2022 Junior hockey training for the U9, U11 and U13 is commencing soon at Arncliffe Public School, date and time TBC. The U15 and U17 girls can train with the women at Marang on a Saturday see the St George Randwick website for dates. The U15 and U17 boys can train with the men at kyeemagh on a Monday night at 6.30pm. It is fitness training only as the turf is out of action until the end of March. Training at Kyeemagh for all ages will recommence at Kyeemagh early April dates TBC
