14.01.2022 Reading the Bible can be hard work. The passages we read sometimes can seem irrelevant or confusing. We end up unsure of how they impact our lives and our world. At Dig Deeper we want to empower you to read the Bible for yourself. We want to make reading your Bible just that little bit easier so that you enjoy it more and get more out of it. On the night we’ll spend a couple of hours focusing on how to read Mark’s Gospel; looking at the authors intent, the structure of Mark and having a crack at mining some different passages in Mark. You’ll also be able to ask questions about Mark’s Gospel and will get a handy little booklet that you can keep as you study Mark for yourself in the future. Want to come along? Tell us your coming by emailing us at [email protected]

10.01.2022 To all the Dads, Grandads and Great Grandads, Happy Father’s Day! We hope you have a great day. But Father’s Day is not a celebration for everyone. We know that for many it can be a day of mourning. We pray that the love of our Heavenly Father would comfort you today in your pain.

08.01.2022 All our ladies enjoyed a beautiful morning and evening at our Coffee, Craft & Connect event. Three women shared about their Christian walk and how their favourite Bible passages have helped keep their eyes on Jesus, and we all made these cute writing boards to display our own favourite Bible verses in our home. It was great to have lots of women from the Geraldton community join us at St George’s. We hope you enjoyed sharing your day with us!!

08.01.2022 Another wedding, another reminder... Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.

02.01.2022 On this day in 1517, Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses to the church door in Wittenberg (or at least had them nailed to door on his behalf). It was the spark ...that ignited the Reformation, a call to the church of the day to return to the teaching of the Bible and the clear proclamation of the gospel. Centuries later the message of the Reformation was distilled into the five solas: sola scriptura (Scripture alone), sola gratia (grace alone), sola fide (faith alone), solus Christus (Christ alone) and soli Deo Gloria (glory to God alone). There were faithful Christians long before the Reformation, even in the medieval period immediately prior to the time of Luther. Yet the call of the Reformation was a call to test everything against the word of God and to order our lives and our message accordingly. We have a great deal for which to give God thanks and praise as a result of the Reformation, not least among these the Bible in our own language and the joy and comfort of Christian assurance anchored in the character and purposes of God. Today is a great day to celebrate God’s goodness. Check out our library archive of Martin Luther's works at http://ow.ly/jhMq50BX64D. Interested in more about Luther?
