24.01.2022 Tomorrow is the Mercy Day Fete. The children can wear free dress and are requested to please bring in a gold coin donation to Ausudan Inc. Children can also bring a small amount of money to spend at the fete (coins are preferred). Thank you for your support.

24.01.2022 Is your child starting Kindergarten at St Gerard's Primary School next year? If so they have the opportunity to attend the 8 week Sing & Grow Off to School Program. This program aims to make the transition to school an enjoyable and less overwhelming experience for your child. Places are limited. 18.01.2022 The Balga Friday Markets has been operating for over 39 years. The markets is run by volunteers, with money raised going back into the local community. The markets are open every Friday from 7am until 12 noon and are well worth a visit. 15.01.2022 Kindy and Pre-Primary Please remember that tomorrow is school photo day. Kindy and Pre-Primary students are to wear their winter sports uniform. Hair to be neat and tidy, with hair ribbons etc to be in school colours only. Please ensure that you child is at school on time before the bell. Thank you. Please note that Year one to year six students to wear their formal winter uniform, not their sports uniform.

13.01.2022 This week is National Science Week. Encourage and support your child to get involved in the school's science competitions; make your own solar system and/or submit a science selfie. We are running a FREE session for parents/carers of children who are starting Kindergarten in 2021... on Wednesday 9 December 9.30am to 11.30am. You will gain some information to help your child succeed with this skill. Creche available for your child. Call us on 9440 1097 for more information or to register.

09.01.2022 The Open Night and Book Fair are on tomorrow night Come and visit your child's classroom to let them show you what they have been learning and then visit the book fair in the library to purchase a book or other items to take home.

06.01.2022 Mercy Day is on Friday 18 September 2020. Please send your donations to the classroom teachers as soon as possible, so that preparations for the fete can commence. Please drop off all donations no later than Wednesday of next week, as the faction sports carnival is on Thursday 17 September. Please contact your child's classroom teacher if you require any further information.
03.01.2022 Is your child or a child you know starting Kindy next year? The Child and Parent Centre Westminster are offering the Sing&Grow Off to School Program that helps to make the transition to school easier. The sessions are held at St Gerard's Primary School at 9am on Monday mornings for ANY children that are starting kindy next year (it does not have to be at St Gerard's). See the flyer below for more details.
03.01.2022 All parents and guardians are invited to come along to the St Gerard's Catholic Primary School Annual General Meeting. There will be reports on the activities of the past year and plans for next year. If you are interested in joining the Board for 2021 (to be known as the School Advisory Council as per CEWA guidelines) please contact the front office prior to the meeting. We hope to see you at the AGM tomorrow, Tuesday 24 November 2020 at 6.00pm. ... Your support of our school is appreciated.
01.01.2022 Tomorrow is the faction sports carnival. Please ensure your child arrives at school before 8.30am in their coloured faction sports uniform with a school hat and white sport shoes. Ensure all items are labelled with your child's name. They will need to have with them sufficient water and food for recess (fruit) and lunch. Children are not permitted to eat takeaway food at the carnival. Please apply sunscreen to your child before school. Coloured hairspray or co...loured zinc must also be applied at home if your child would like to wear this. This is not compulsory, and children are NOT to bring this for use by other children. All children are required to attend as it is a normal school day. Families are welcome to come to watch and cheer at the carnival.
