25.01.2022 Today St Gertrude's has officially launched MOVEmber. Each child was given a pedometer to measure their steps for two weeks. The class and child who do the most steps over the next two weeks will win a prize. Today we had rugby league coaches come to the school to help us practice our Rugby League skills and help us launch MOVEmber. Students will take home their pedometer at the end of the month. 08.01.2022 On Wednesday, 5 Tenison engaged in an interactive zoom session, as part of book week with The State Library of New South Wales Our session was on the gold rush in Australian in the 1850’s. We learnt about many interesting things, including primary and secondary sources and what mining life life was really like.
