13.01.2022 We'd like to welcome Mr Benjamin Darcy to the St George on Mermaid Beach Medical Centre Family! Ben studied on the Gold Coast at Griffith University before transitioning into hospital-based Physiotherapy. After working at Prince Charles ICU, Ben began working in private practices and travelling across Melbourne, Ballarat and Brisbane before returning to the Gold Coast. Within this time, he was involved in sports physiotherapy for the Brisbane Broncos Reserves and other notabl...e sporting teams. Ben offers dry needling/Western acupuncture, as well as manual/'hands-on' therapy to ensure that you receive a comprehensive and effective treatment session. Treatment plans can consist of massage, dry needling, trigger point therapy, home exercise prescription and electro therapy. He has a special interest in musculoskeletal spinal pain, sports injuries and workplace/WorkCover injuries, while also offering a wide range of treatment options to all physiotherapy-relevant injuries, conditions and ages.
