14.01.2022 OK , apparently there is some kind of virus getting around thats stopping people doing stuff. We have faced some obstacles over the years, like one year we had no barge to cross the pieman river , so we brought our own.. this year our river to cross is called Victoria . My fellow New South Welshmen, Queenslanders and those from the ACT, we are working on some creative solutions and would appreciate your input and feedback. We believe you will be able to fly in and out of Tas...sie from your cities, for as little as $99 , but getting your bikes here will be a project. At this stage we have a price for a container from Sydney that will see your bikes cost about $350 each way based on getting twenty in a container. We are working with a couple of local removals companies to better that price. what we will need is input from you. Ben will be coordinating a group chat to discuss this and we expect sometime over the weekend we will fix a time to talk with you all . we will need to start booking stuff soon to get the best deals .

03.01.2022 CONTINGENCY PLAN ..WE ARE FULL Record Numbers for St Helens to Strahan ..BUT At this stage everything is going ahead except for a small amount of Victorian Riders whos fate will be determined in the coming weeks. We have over 80 seats sold when we had a capacity of 78. Our previous record was 57 , so its pretty amazing given the times whats is booked. This is the DIRT category only and does not include any other category. We have approximately the same amount of local riders... as what we have had total previously, so what we are doing is encouraging any local people who are considering coming, to register with Ben,just in case our borders are closed and mainland people cannot come. We have the capacity for around 25-30 extra locals If all is well in Corona town and the existing booked people are able to come, you will automatically be granted a spot for 2021 as we are already taking pre bookings for next years event. We have some first timers who have booked for next year already on top of this year :) So, hopefully all will be well with our borders, but just in case, jump on board and at least youre guaranteed a seat for 2021

03.01.2022 It just gets BETTER It is with excitement we can announce that ST2ST14 is absolutely NOT cancelled. In fact its been Upgraded! ... After extensive discussions with West Coast locals, it will offer the most benefit to move the dates to April 15 -19 so we can raise the chances of all dirt participants being able to cross the Henty Rivers, save time and avoid road travel on day four. The detour Via Zeehan has always been a bugbear and the opportunity to eliminate that has been on our radar for some time. This will also facilitate an accommodation change for Saturday night, moving us to Cradle mountain to avoid the accommodation bottleneck we have encountered in Waratah as a result of record numbers attending. The West Coast Council has offered to festivalise our Sunday night finish as much as they can and all of our upgrades will allow additional time in Strahan to enjoy the improvements planned. St Helens to Strahan 14 will be the biggest and best ever by a considerable margin and the management and staff of St2St14 welcome the chance to provide these upgrades. I think we did a ride in this area in like 2006 but cant remember.. Trying to calculate distance, time etc Also, based on that, has anyone ridden what appears to be a power line track between the end of the link road and Waratah as shown?... Any input appreciated
